A few, a very few, of my favorite Ebay finds

Hi! I'm Teri, aka Copper-Maven. Although I sell a wide variety of antique, vintage, and retro collectibles, I'm obsessed with collecting anything and everything in copper. Some of my more interesting Ebay finds include a hairdryer, a toaster, a clothing iron, a tabletop food grinder, an ice cube tray, and an antique soap grater, all in copper. I occasionally have to part with a piece to make room for more. I collect lots of other things too, including vintage and depression green glassware (because that color goes best with copper, naturally), vintage kitchen accessories, antique baby items, 50s Western Cowboy stuff, and vintage porcelain and linens decorated with violets. Surprisingly, even with my interest in kitchen stuff I don't cook. But I'd sure love to have two kitchens to display all my treasures!
As to selling, I'm an old-school Ebayer. Your satisfaction is important to me, and Ebay is supposed to be FUN. I don't believe in "all sales final" or "the pics say it all" or "I cannot be responsible for ...", and I don't make a lot of demands on my bidders or issue threats. You pay for your stuff, and you're happy with your stuff, I'm happy.

GUARANTEE AND RETURN POLICY

Returns. I hate 'em, and I know you do too. If you are unhappy with your item for any reason, you may return it for a refund. If your item is not as described in the auction listing or if I've overlooked a problem or flaw, you may return it for a full refund of your bid price plus shipping. You must contact me within 48 hours of receipt of the item for return instructions, and the item must come back to me in the same condition as sent with my mark intact no later than 10 days after the date of your email. Buyer's remorse returns (for example, you feel you paid too much or you simply changed your mind) are subject to a restocking fee to cover my expenses (Ebay fees, Paypal fees, etc.) and shipping will not be refunded.

In the unlikely event your item is damaged in shipping, your refund will be handled through insurance.

SHIPPING & PAYMENT POLICIES

Whether you purchase a $3 hankie from me or a $2000 antique, you're entitled to the same level of care and service. Checks, money orders, and Paypal are all cheerfully accepted. I have a merchant account and can also take your Visa or Mastercard directly, but please, only on purchases of $25 or more. I do ask that payment be mailed within a week of auction end, and that you communicate with me if a delay comes up. I'm pretty easygoing, but if there's no communication after 5 days and/or no payment after 14 days, I don't feel obligated to hold your item indefinitely.

I make sure your item is packaged as if I were shipping a priceless family heirloom to myself. I know too well the awful sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach when your package arrives with that awful tinkling or rattling sound and you know before you even open it that your treasure is broken. Any charges for handling or packaging materials are either included in a fixed shipping rate or stated separately in my listing. Whenever possible, you'll be offered a choice of shipping methods, whether priority, first class, UPS, or any other carrier. Insurance through U-Pic is always offered and recommended. If you choose not to insure your item, you agree to absorb the risk of loss or damage in shipping.

International bidders are always welcome at my auctions, unless the item is simply too big to be shipped overseas, or unless it's forbidden under the customs/import laws of your country. Please understand that shipping rates are higher outside the US and email me if you'd like a shipping quote.

FEEDBACK POLICY

I always leave feedback for positive transactions, and I won't hold your feedback hostage until you "scratch my back" first. But I do feedback in batches as I get time and it's possible your item will arrive before I get a chance to leave feedback for you. I welcome reminders in the event I overlook leaving feedback for a customer, so please feel free to let me know if I mess up!
