My wife and I have been collecting antiques for more than 25 years, beginning with some prized pieces of 18th and early 19th furniture collected and passed down by her mother.  To enhance and expand our collection/s we frequently attend estate auctions in the Hudson Valley of New York.  We have a substantial collection of fine antiques -- early federal furniture, fine leather-bound books, antique accessories, quality ceramics, orientalia and Hudson River School paintings.  As our collection grows and tests our space, we find it necessary to sell in order to continue collecting and upgrading.  Among our latest interests is revolutionary war items and documents, particularly those related to the importance of the Hudson River Valley in that struggle.
