Well, You want to know who Heidi Gianino is? Do you want to know what CraBByGaBBy is all about? Well, now that I finally know who I am, I can tell you. It has taken me a journey of almost 32 years to figure out who I am and who I want to be.

CraBByGaBBy is a Husband and Wife Biz. Named after our middle daughter Gabby. I had to mail a doll out and the doll was wearing one of Gabby's old dresses, well she was having a melt down in the post office when she saw the package getting mailed off. Hence, We changed the biz name to CraBByGaBBy. My Children are , Chrisopher (11)very intelligent thoughtful young boy, Gabby (8) She thinks the world revolves around her and the last Sophia (3), she thinks she can rule the world
NOW FOR THE NITTY GRITTY
I grew up in a mentally abusive household, left home early on and high-tailed it to the midwest. I met my Husband and shortly after "we got married in a fever" and had kids. I still did not know who I was though. I had accepted Jesus Christ in my Heart when I was just 6 years old. but yet something was still missing.
Not being very happy with who I was, I tried to find fullfillment in keeping a perfectly clean house (very unhealthy OCD cleaning...), I tried to look "perfect" all of the time, Making sure my kids looked perfect. On the outside everything was perfect. I had a very bad habit of judging my inside by everyone else's outside appearences.
Soon, CrabbyGaBBy was lurking in the corners. I begged my husband to let me buy a sewing machine. When I got my sewing machine, I made some very "crafty country type dolls". With trying to get out of our rental appartment in St. Louis city and searching for a home in a small town the sewing machine had to get put away to make time for the search and the move.
Once in the country I found inspiration to drag my sewing machine out. I started sewing dolls and selling them on ebay. Some would say the rest is history, but the story continues.
I was having fun selling dolls on ebay, but yet still something was missing. I was pregnant with our 3rd child, AND THE LAST! I focused as hard as I could designing "grungy unique funky one of a kind dolls" it was how we were making ends meet (that part of my life has not changed!). I feel that being pregnant really allowed me to focus on dolls and to fine tune skills. I found myself escaping into a world of where all of my energy and thoughts were just on making dolls.
Shortly after I had Sophia I was back on Ebay selling dolls. I was feeling really confident in who I THOUGHT I WAS. I was full of pride and very self centered. We were having trouble making ends meet and when a doll would end for a decent amount I become VERY PRIDEFUL and thought it was all me. Something had to change. AND IT DID!
My Family and I started to attend a small church. The Church is a Bible Based full gospel spirit filled Church, Named AGAPE. The puzzle pieces of who I am supposed to be started to come together. I began a bible study and started to learn who I was in Christ. And only then did I start to feel whole and started to know who I was. This was 2 years ago. When I started to get into the word it became so real to me. The realization that GOD is in controll of every aspect of my life. He has provided me with provisions on a daily basis. He is a living God! He keeps all of his promises, and his word will not return void. Nor is he a respector of persons (meaning if he can do it for me, he will do it for you) I have hope AND I HAVE FREEDOM in Chirst.
I am gonna have to be honest, this is a day to day walk, it takes diligence. It takes renewing my mind on a daily basis (sometimes a minute to minute basis!) (Ephasians 4:23)
I still have problems, my life is not problem free. Sometimes I am pretty messed up in my thought process, sometimes I worry way to much about things, when God allready has the answer. God loves me just the way I am, but HE LOVES ME TO MUCH TO KEEP ME THIS WAY! No matter how horrible of things that I have said and done, he has forgiven me.
Now with the missing puzzle piece being in place, that piece being a personal relationship with Jesus, I now feel complete.

What is CrabbyGabby?
A Family Biz ran on Christian Values. All that I have and all that I am, Belongs to God and not me. He gets the credit and Glory for everything. If God is for me who can be against me?
I am so humbled to be able to stay at home with my children and to do this for a living! For everyone who has ever bought a doll from me, a pattern or even bid Thank you so much. For everyone who has sent wonderful support emails over the year THANK YOU TOO! Every Kind word was very dear to me, and I truly appreciate all of the support.

Although I feel completely blessed to be able to bring you my pattern line, This is not A HOBBY, IT IS A JOB. So, here are few ground rules
1. First off, I feel that you should see the doll as a blank canvas ( I stated this on one my very first patterns) However, just because you tweak the shape of the head, or body, this does not make it your own design to claim as your own or to publish into pattern. Please, if you tweak my pattern do not say INSPIRED because the fact is if you used the pattern the term is ADAPTED!
2. You are more then welcome to sell your finished dolls on ebay, Craft Fairs and ONLINE MAGAZINES, BUT NOT PRINTED MAGAZINES!
3. When selling finished product I would really appreciate a wee bit of credit for the pattern
4. No mass producing
5. Please do not make enlargements or reductions with out my written permission.
6. Please PLEASE do not make photocopies of the pattern for your personal use then sell the original on ebay THIS IS STEALING! This is the reason why most stores WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNRS ON OPENED DVD'S AND CD'S. Because the person may have copied and got a copy of it for free basically .......
7. Bring your creative spirit! Have fun, don't sweat the small stuff.
I would like to add that basic sewing skills are helpful. Alot of times the only thing stopping me from putting something into pattern are the instructions. And last, I can not be responsible for individual wormanship. I bring all of my pattern pieces and instructions to you good faith.
