SHIPPING: No hidden handling charges - all costs of materials, labor, etc. are included in the shipping charges. Buyers may combine all lots won in the same week, starting Sunday and ending the following Saturday, no exceptions. It is advisable to wait for my combined invoice for multiple purchases, each separate payment restarts the listed minimum shipping charge.
Large items such as albums, album pages, FDCs, postcards, lots with more than about 250 stamps, etc. do not qualify for combined shipping unless stated otherwise in the description.
Notice to buyers from countries other than the US and Canada: For a single lot or multiple lots the weight will determine the combined airmail shipping charge at $1.50/ounce (28 grams) with a minimum of $2.00. After properly packing multiple items I can determine the weight and send an invoice with the correct shipping charge. My selling terms are FOB - freight prepaid and added, Holtsville, NY. All duties, taxes, import charges, etc. are the responsibility of the buyer, this also applies to Canadian buyers. Kindly check with your country's government agencies if fees are imposed BEFORE bidding.
All lots are mailed within 24 to 48 hours after receipt of funds by USPS First Class Mail, to foreign countries via FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL MAIL (It is not called airmail anymore, you will not see the familiar blue airmail sticker). I do not use collection boxes, every cover is handed in person to one of the most helpful, pleasant clerks at the Post Office in Farmingville, Long Island, NY. Only real stamps are affixed, no metered mail. Please check the postmark date if your cover arrives later than expected, once posted I have no control over the speed of the various postal services. Uninsured mail is sent at buyer's risk, if lost or damaged - buyer gambled and lost. All items are properly packaged and addressed with PC generated labels. I do not affix a green customs label to foreign mail unless the country of destination or the weight requires it, as per USPS rules.
PAYMENTS: United States buyers can pay by Paypal, money order, or bank check. Ebay does not allow us to say that we accept cash. Only Paypal is accepted from foreign countries, including Canada - no exceptions. Payments with unauthorized deductions will be returned. I reserve the right to relist all unpaid items after 7 days, beginning with the latest purchase, without further notice.
All New York State residents pay sales tax unless I receive a properly executed hard copy of your Exempt Certificate in the mail. The sales tax differs by county and city/town of residence. My invoice will reflect the proper sales tax percentage for your location. Shipping charges are not exempt from sales tax, please call 1-800-698-2909 to verify this. Payments without proper sales tax will be returned.
