On Line Lucky Finds eBay Store My name is Claudia, and here I am! As a Baby Boomer, I have no intention of living life as my mother and grandmother did at my age - I'm 61. I'm a "Rowdy Girl" - full of energy, activities, interests, with NO interest in retirement or slowing down for decades to come! On Line Lucky Finds eBay store is stocked with all kinds of items from new to used to collectible - things you might not find elsewhere at great prices. I have worked in publishing & advertising in Manhattan, ran a mail order business, owned a retail store, a magazine publishing company and worked in on-line e-commerce. All my talents and experience has come together to create my eBay store. And I'm loving it! I go to work early with a hot cup of tea and see what happened over night. My day goes quickly - sourcing product, answering e-mails from bidders and buyers, photographing items (my hobby is finally paying off!), writing copy for each item, then packing and shipping, finished off with a quick trip to the Post Office. Here's my handsome husband Richard, his guide dog, Zane, and our other "baby", Cuzzie. Between 5-5:30, I stop, switch the TV to Emeril and cook dinner for my wonderful husband, Richard, which we eat while testing our memories by watching Jeopardy. (We're pretty good!) Richard is nearly blind, but don't feel sorry for him! He's devoted his career working for a non-profit, the Foundation Fighting Blindness, which raises money to fund research to find cures and treatments for retinal degenerative diseases. I'm on the executive board for the Denver chapter. We have several major fund raisers per year: Swing for Sight, a golf tournament, and VisionWalk, our local version of FFB's national signature event. The newest addition to our family is Zane, a 65 pound black lab, who was raised and trained by Guide Dogs for the Blind in CA. He is Richard's eyes and guides him to work every day (they walk), onto planes, trains and taxis as he travels all over the southwest in his job. When he's not "working," he's tons of fun - just a great animal. Oh yeah, that would describe BOTH Richard AND Zane! We've had Cuzzie, a Poodle/Lasso mix, for over eight years. Looks like Bengie, doesn't she? Don't know how we would live without this sweetheart of a pup! She's sits under my desk most of the day - unless we're playing "toss the squirrel."
