At Crooked Acres our goal is very down-to-earth. We strive to make sure our guests enjoy their stay from the moment they arrive to the second our paths separate. About me, Michelle… owner of Crooked Acres… I make friends easily, love deeply, work hard, spend too much money, am a little sarcastic and blunt at time and I LOVE my home & kids! I’m a single mom with a full time “real” job. Crooked Acres is where I live, my Estate (it's actually only 3 acres, but it's MY ESTATE!!) and the most peaceful place on Earth. I want to share it with the world! I can not wait to take photos in the spring and share them with everyone! (There is snow on the ground now!) Life has definitely blessed my family and I and we hope to pass some of those blessings on! I collect "things" and animals. I rescue all sorts of animals and rehabilitate them... from birds to dogs to a fox recently. We have 5 cats, 3 dogs, 2 chinese dragons, a chameleon, a goldfish, and *HOPEFULLY* several Koi in the spring! (I just put the pond in last summer so this is their first winter!). They have all been rescued in one way or another and are almost as spoiled as my kids and I are!
I started on eBay selling "junk" or unused items from my house on January 3’rd 2008 to clean out and pay a few bills. I quickly developed a love for the community here. On March 1’st we opened our eBay store and are still developing it daily! We've met some really great people here. I believe in friendship above all, so I hope that my customers will become my friends. I sell, I buy, then sell, then buy and on and on it goes. As a single mom, eBay has afforded me the opportunity to socialize a bit, make some money, spend time with my son and daughter doing things (LIKE WRAPPING ~ another way of saying I make them perform child labor! Crooked Acres Store policy is simple… You win, you pay within 3 days, we ship! Simple as that! We ship daily Monday through Friday. Any auctions closing and paid on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on Monday, Monday payment ships Tuesday, etc. We ship via USPS at cost plus a small packaging fee. Usually a dollar or less for packaging & handling supplies. Larger boxes are shipped via UPS. Please see the individual auctions for shipping options for that particular item. PayPal is our preferred payment type, but we will accept cashier’s checks and money orders. Please keep in mind that mailing payment takes a bit longer for us to receive your payment. Please don’t penalize our shipping if you chose this method of payment! Returns are accepted within 7 days of receipt if you are unhappy for any reason. Product must be in the same condition it was in when it left our store. S & H are the responsibility of the buyer. Exceptions will be made if there was a problem with the item which was a result of Crooked Acres error.
