Bike Across Florida '07 (1994 Specialized Epic - carbon tubes/alum. lugs)

On April 22, 2007 I felt the need to switch my name ebay ID from HRC-Stuff (which stood for Hard Rock Cafe Stuff - as in, "to be a collector of it") to CyclisticProgression.  This came about because I have come to realize that am a completionist.  When it comes to most things in my life that I collect I like to complete things, have all that is offered etc.  One can not do that with Hard Rock items anymore. So, after 21 years of being a world traveling, collector of Hard Rock Cafe memorabilia, I decided that I was no longer a fan of their collectables.  Years ago one could go to a Cafe and purchase a pin or a shot glass for a reasonable fee and go home satisfied that you had something cool to show for your visit.  Now they have 10 pins coming out every holiday, season, week at unreasonable prices... I congratulate corporate marketing for making things a whole lot less enjoyable than back when things were first established.  I guess will hold on to the nearly 3,000 pins I have collected.  The pins, from the 55+ different Hard Rock Cafes/Hotels/Casinos/Live Venues/and other facets of the company (such as Hard Rock Beer, Hard Rock Records, etc), will one day be my IRA.   I have also come to terms with who I really am, I am not a rock star and at age 40 I just don't need the rock and roll image in my life as I once thought I did.
