Update on my Mother....she is currently at home, as of today. Her spirits are fantastic & she acts like her old self, however, her strength is very poor. She still thinks she can whip the world even though she can't even dress herself. This is how we know she is going to be alright. Thank you to each and every seller for working with us while we tried to make sense of Mother's jumbled up desk. Many of you have been extremely wonderful to delay payment while we worked on trying to access Mother's paypal account. Those who could not work with us for various reasons, we totally understand and hold no grudges. Each one of you make ebay the fun shopping place that it is. Sincerely, Jennifer
My name is Kathryn. My friends call me Kathy. I'll be married to my high school sweetheart 33 years this year. We have 5 children and 5 grandchildren who say I was born in the wrong era because I love vintage items and oldies music.
When not involved in Church activities, I enjoy Sewing, painting ceramics, learning how to quilt, growing container gardens, feeding & watching birds that frequent the many feeders in my yard, going to yard sales & flea markets, shopping on ebay and most of all, I enjoy teaching teenagers how to sew. I've acquired many collections over the years, some of those collections include: Noah's Ark Figurines, Elephant Figurines, vintage kitchen items, strawberry items for my kitchen, vintage valentines, vintage sewing patterns, colorful vintage costume jewelry, vintage Camark pottery, Fireking glasswear, commemorative postage stamps, ACEO's and last but not least, daffodil related items.
The baby booties shown at the right were the first 'daffodil' related items I owned. They were made by my GrandMother. Daffodils are just one my favorite flowers & yes my yard is almost completely covered in the spring with hundreds of varieties. One bedroom in my home is decorated with vintage items from the 1940's & '50's in memory of my grandparents who started my appreciation for daffodils.
