HELLO AND WELCOME Hello, Tina Marie/dagnytaggert2, nice to meet you Romania, trip for school, me and my friend Lori Hello and Welcome to my About Me page. I hope your visit is fun and informative! My 4 year old son got me interested in the Thomas world to begin with, and then I began selling Thomas items on Ebay in 2004. I don't know who would get more excited when a package would arrive at our door....I think it was me, and my fascination with Thomas and the Island of Sodor has grown bigger and bigger ever since. Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends has been around for a very long time. It started with a Reverand Awdry making up and telling stories about Thomas and his Friends to his son Christopher. Thomas has since evolved and changed in many different ways over the years, but his popularity has grown stronger and stronger. He is a much beloved character of children and parents all over the world. Thomas stories always try to teach important life lessons. It is always kept fresh by the introduction of new characters and new places and destinations. Sometimes characters or places become retired to make way for new ideas and some of those places and characters become collector pieces to the Thomas fan which adds another element to the fun and interest of Thomas and his Friends. When I was younger I always wanted to sneak on an empty boxcar and see where I would end up. We used to put pennies on the tracks when the big trains were coming by to see how we could flatten them out and make them as smooth as silk, of course now I am much more careful and don't play around train tracks! Instead of an empty boxcar, I ended up at school like most people. I have a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry combo, and minored in a lot of physics and genetics classes. I did do some work for research labs and spent some time working for drug companies. But I found myself home with my son and started the eBay thing to keep busy. I spend most of my time reading...I barely ever watch T.V. I am a music fanatic and you can barely ever find me without headphones on (I even wear them to bed)...I love bands like Green Day, Live, Staind, Coheed and Cambria, Evanescence...you get the idea. I also love to sew, yes I said SEW! I don't know why but most people find it odd! I never thought I would do an About Me page but have been encouraged to do so by many other eBayers. I do spend some time in some of the Community Chat Rooms...there are so many to choose from. I have met some nasty and dishonest people, but the majority of people have been wonderful to talk to and some have even become friends outside of the eBay world. You will find that most eBayers are kind and generous people and are willing to help and share their expertise if you find yourself with questions and would just like some other opinions.
