I taught myself how to make Pysanky, or Ukrainian Eggs from a book that I had bought for my Grandmother. She never got around to trying it, so I did and have been hooked ever since! I love doing both traditional and contemporary designs. As far as I'm concerned, there is never enough time in the day to work on eggs!

I've been making eggs for about 9 years and have just recently started selling them on the internet. Prior to that I would sometimes sell them at various bazaars. I am a stay at home mom to my 2 year old and this is the first chance I've had to give it a try. He keeps me pretty busy, so I really value the time that I have to work on eggs! I'm constantly trying to find ways to be better organized so that I can eek out a little more time to do everything I need to do every day. A good day is when the house is somewhat clean, I've had time to do something fun with my son, and also work on eggs, and relax. Oh yeah, and spend quality time with my husband! These days are rare, but I know they exist.
