Dogtown Artworks highly acclaimed first book!

Cindy and Kirby Pringle want to tickle your funny bone.

The husband-and-wife team specializes in humorous, whimsical photographs. The subjects of most of their images, Earl and Pearl Barker, two "dog people," reside with them on their farm in Central Illinois.

Cindy Pringle is a University of Illinois graduate and has been a professional photographer for 18 years. Her work has been sold throughout the world on everything from greeting cards to billboards.

Kirby Pringle is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and is an award-winning feature writer for The News-Gazette in Champaign, Illinois.

“Our goal is to create memorable images that bring joy to the heart,” Kirby Pringle says. “Nothing thrills us more than when a passerby pauses at one of our photographs, takes a close look and then bursts into laughter. That tells us we’ve done our job. Our philosophy is simple: Our art should make people happy.”
