COME LET'S HOP IN MY ROADSTER FOR YOUR VERY OWN TOUR OF A FEW MORE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS...

One of the meal events was "Strike Up the Band". Here are the musical Brownies created by the talented R. John Wright for the event.

And here is Mr. Wright signing my souvenir Brownie from the event.

And here are my "Ultimate French Fashion" dolls beautifully created by Alice Leverett Henderson.

While we were in Detroit, several of my on-line friends helped me celebrate my birthday...what a great group of friends they are!!
On my birthday, I was the lucky winner of one of the helpers (raffle ticket prizes). Here she is on the left...a tiny cloth Izannah Walker doll made entirely by hand by a talented artist. Her "sister" is also a miniature Izannah Walker doll. Needless to say, I was thrilled to win this lovely doll.

My BJD Hannah shows us her devilish charms.

After convention my husband and I traveled by train to Niagara Falls. What a spectacular sight!!!

Here's are some more pictures. This is picture of my Miss Holly and Hitty both handcarved and painted by NIADA founder Helen Bullard in 1950. It is a real challenge to find these early NIADA artist dolls and these were no exception.
Recently we attended the 10th Anniversary Hitty & Friends Reunion held in beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia October 28-31, 2004. Our lovely souvenir doll was designed by Hitty artist, Judy Brown, and her Williamsburg inspired outfits were designed by Elizabeth Rollins, Helen Boothe, Sandy Reinke and Judy Brown. Modeling the lovely souvenir outfits are left to right: Hitty Brite & Pretty wearing the Riding Outfit with tri-corner hat, our souvenir Hitty wearing a lovely lavender dress with matching cape and Hitty Madison wearing a beautiful gown with embrodiered petticoat and mop cap. Also included but not shown in the picture is Hitty's bedtime nightgown & cap.

If you would like to learn more about Hitty, here is a link to a Hitty program that I presented.
