Where to begin? Well, I've been here almost from the start! Spent much of the mid-late '90s selling electronics, until NEW RULES ruined that (had to have the original box). Then more NEW RULES ruined the sale of firearms. Then more NEW RULES ruined the sale of Firearm-related products. Oh, yeah. Along with each NEW RULE came a NEW FEE! Guess they needed all that extra help (his name is Cliff) to monitor all new listings each day to ensure that they conform to every eBay listing policy!
I guess the breaking point came late in 2007. You see, I was collecting currency, and this idiot seller, who lists items for $12M, or more, kept including so many OPINIONS that it wasn't funny! Supposedly, such info is banned, but since he generates $ for feeBay, they let him continue! So, I created an alter-ego to compete with this loser! And I had great fun, until eBay stepped in and started hitting ME with "policy violations". The Golden Rule in action, folks!
It got to the point that nannyBay was pulling my listing for some Body Armor and citing "rules" that WERE NOT PUBLISHED ANYWHERE ON THE eBAY SITE! Tell me, how does one follow a Policy Rule when listing an item when eBay bans items that ARE NOT published in that Policy? YOU CAN'T!
That was it. I had given them enough of my money. Now it's only buying and using checks or MOs to pay. Not one more dime to eBay! I'll list on any other site before I list here! If YOU don't like the way the site is run, then use your $ to let them know! List elsewhere! Use anything BUT PreyPal! DO YOUR PART TO MAKE eBAY OBEY ITS MEMBERS, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!

And now we have the latest gEstapo tactics: Paypal ONLY! Yeah! That's the ticket! FORCE users to use eBay's own payment method, so that they can skim even more money off each and every transaction! What next! SHIP-Pal, eBay's own proprietary shipping company that everyone will be FORCED to use to get items to the buyers? Wouldn't surprise me in the least.
