My name is Denise Primel and my husband Mike and I have owned a unique retail store in Charleston, SC called "East of Maui, LLC Kayak and Hawaiian Store" for the last 5 years. Moving to Charleston, SC about 7 years ago. We love it here, it is our 2nd favorite place to Hawaii. We love being treated with the "Aloha Spirit" when visiting Hawaii and try to bring that experience to our store.
UPDATE: March 1, 2008 we closed our retail store after 5-1/2 years. Hard to compete with the chain stores on kayaks & gear. So you will find some great deals on our remaining inventory. We will continue to offer our best selling Hawaiian items online through E-Bay & Amazon even after we clear out remaining store inventory.
