How it works:

1. Find a course in your area that you want to play and bid on it.
2. Each eGreenfees' auction is for a "Green Fee Certificate" good for "One Green Fee and ½ a cart" and is valid for one year (unless otherwise specified).
3. After winning the auction, use the "Pay Now" button to complete your transaction. If you do not use the "Pay Now" button, you will be sent an email with a link to our secure checkout. In either case, after completing the checkout, you will be able to print your certificate immediately, on your own printer!
4. Call the course to book your tee time, just like you normally would.

  • eGreenfees accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Paypal, and American Express for auction payments using our secure online checkout system.
  • eGreenfees.com does not accept Billpoint, money orders, cashier's checks or personal checks.
  • No cash value for Green Fee Certificates.
  • Void to the extent prohibited by law.
  • No cash back upon redemption or at any other time.
  • The issuing of credit is at the sole discretion of the course unless otherwise required by law.
  • Green Fee Certificates can only be applied towards green fees and cart rental and cannot be used towards the purchase of food, beverages, merchandise, taxes, tips, or prior balances.
  • This Green Fee Certificate is valid for groups of two (2) or more. (The purchaser and at least one (1) additional golfer paying for a green fee and a ½ a cart).
  • No refunds after 30 days from date of purchase.
  • eGreenfees charges a $1.95 handling fee on each Certificate purchased.
  • At the conclusion of each auction, the winning bidder will receive notification of a successful bid via email. This notification will include a link to our secure checkout system. Use this checkout process to complete your transaction.
  • Once we have received authorization of your payment, the winner will be notified via the email address listed with eBay. This notification will include a link to print the Green Fee Certificate.
  • All Green Fee Certificates must be printed by customer. eGreenfees will not mail Green Fee Certificates to the purchaser.
  • Limit one (1) Green Fee Certificate per redemption. Green Fee Certificates can only be redeemed by a group of two (2) or more. Only one Green Fee Certificate can be used per group, even if the group has separate tee times.
  • Limit one (1) Green Fee Certificate redemption per customer, per month, per course.
  • Neither eGreenfees nor the golf course is responsible for lost or stolen Green Fee Certificates or certificate numbers.
  • Green Fee Certificates are not valid on holidays and cannot be combined with any other gift certificates or third party certificates, coupons, or promotions.
  • Reproduction, sale, or trade of Green Fee Certificates is prohibited unless otherwise allowed by law.
  • Any attempted redemption not consistent with these terms and conditions will render the Green Fee Certificate null and void.
  • All Green Fee Certificates expire one (1) year from date of purchase with the following exceptions:
    • Green Fee Certificates issued for use in California, Illinois, and Rhode Island have no expiration date.
    • Green Fee Certificates issued for use in New Hampshire do not expire if face value is under $100.
    • Green Fee Certificates issued for use in Hawaii and Massachusetts expire two (2) years from purchase date.

2. What is a green fee?
A green fee is the cost of a round of golf and/or the daily fee charged by the golf course.
3. What is a "1/2 a cart"?
It is your portion of the cart fee charge by the golf course for use of the cart. The cart can accomodate two persons and two bags, therefore one golfer is normally only charged for half of it's use.
4. How do I Bid on a course?
You must first register on eBay. By registering you will become one of over 50 million eBay users. Click here to register and eBay will walk you through the easy registration process.
5. Do you have a handling fee?
Each winning bid will be charged a $1.95 handling fee at checkout. However, you will not be charged a shipping fee or sales tax.
6. How do the GreenFee Certificates work?
GreenFee Certificates act as a form of payment. Member courses have agreed to honor the GreenFee Certificates for one year from date of purchase. You can redeem them at the specific member courses, subject to the terms and conditions listed on the individual certificates.
7. Can the certificates be redeemed for cash?
No, they are only to be exchanged for the value of one green fee and half cart rental.
8. Why don't I receive a full cart rental with the GreenFee Certificate?
The term "half cart rental" defines your use of a golf cart with the redemption of your green fee certificate. The other "half cart rental" is charged to the other golfer sharing the use of the cart.
9. How Can I get a refund?
Yes, refunds will be offered within 30 days of purchase. The refund will be issued on the original payment instrument.
10. How do I find a course that offers GreenFee Certificates?
Use our course search technology to locate the course in your area. Remember to check back often because new courses are constantly enrolling in our program.
11. How do I pay after I win the auction?
When you win the auction, you will receive an e-mail that contains a link to our secure checkout site. You will use a credit card to complete your checkout, and you will be able to print your certificate immediately.
12. Are there any shipping charges?
No, you will be able to print the active Green Fee Certificate on you own printer after successful checkout.
13. How long does it take to receive the gift certificate?
You will be able to print the certificate immediately upon successful checkout. No waiting. Just Print and Play!
14. Can I make a tee time reservation from your site?
Not at this time. You must call the individual course to make a tee time as you normally would, using the GreenFee Certificate simply as a form of payment for your round of golf.
15. Is this Green Fee Certificate good anytime?
Each Green Fee Certificate has it's own terms and conditions which have been requested by the course management. You must read over these terms and conditions before purchasing and/or redeeming the certificates at the member course. All Terms and Conditions will be clearly stated on the auction site and on the Green Fee Certificate itself
16. What is a "member" course?
A member course is a golf course that has agreed to honor Green Fee Certificates purchased on eGreenfees.
17. I've printed the certificate, now what do I do?
If you wish to reserve a tee time, call the course and make a tee time. There is no need to mention that you have a GreenFee Certificate, unless specified by the course. Keep in mind, a GreenFee Certificate is simply a form of payment for your round and half cart, it is the purchasers responsibility to make sure the course has space for the player. Tee times are not required at all courses, but it is a good idea to reserve your time, making sure you are within the term and conditions printed on the certificate.
18. Can I use the certificate more that once?
No, each certificate has a unique certificate number, once redeemed by the course, renders it invalid for future use.
19. How will I know if I won the auction?
eGreenfees and eBay will send you an email detailing what item you bid on and that you are the winner. Follow the link on the email to continue to our secure check-out to complete the transaction.
20. What methods of payments does eGreenfees accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, PayPal and American Express.
21. What does the Green Fee Certificate cover?
It covers one Green Fee and 1/2 cart rental for the person presenting the certificate for redemption.
22. Can I show up to the course by myself and use a eGreenfees Green Fee Certificate?
No. One of the conditions of a Green Fee Certificate is that a full paying customer accompanies the gift certificate holder. Generally, golfers normally do not golf alone, so if you split the difference with your playing partner it is a discount to both of you.
23. How do I find a member course in my area?
At the top of every page, including the FAQ page you are reading now, there is a "Find a Course in Your Area" search button.Click the down arrow and locate your area. It's that simple!
24. What if I don't have a printer?
When you win the auction, you must have a printer to print the Green Fee Certificate.
25. Do I have to have a color printer?
No, standard black and white printer will suffice. Color will work as well.
