My name is Ethan E. Elgin and I live in the greater Boston area, which is a wonderful part of Massachusetts that is steeped in history. One of the great privileges of living in New England is the vast assortment of rare and unusual books that I come across. Selling antique books was originally a family business, and it is a tradition that I have been proud to carry on for almost ten years. Having been graduated as an English major, I not only enjoy finding and selling books, but I am also quite a bibliophile. I must admit that the most difficult part of selling antique books is actually letting go of some of them. Some of the books that I have fallen in love with have just been too difficult to part from my personal library. One in particular, was a signed Walt Whitman, which I could just not let go. However, I have a veritable library full of rare and antique volumes that I know will find a home where they are equally appreciated and enjoyed.
To honor the family tradition of antique book selling, I know that integrity is of the upmost of importance. I do a tremendous amout of research to ensure that potential buyers bid on a book that is well described, in both its content and conditon. My inventory is constantly changing so please keep checking back as there are always surprises. I typically list books every week, depending upon my schedule and book volume, but it will never be longer than a week that I don't list rare antiquarian books.
Thank you so much for visiting my site and please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Best Regards,
Ethan E. Elgin
