Back to previous page  Ferelwing's Fantasy Forest My name is Lisa Adams. I am the mother of 3 children and I spend almost all my time taking care of them. In my spare time I create various creations. Some good, some not so good. I enjoy creating OOAK art. I love beautiful works of art. I enjoy collecting them as much as I enjoy making them. I began working with clay when I first discovered that my mother had a rare auto-immune liver condition. It helped me soothe my worries and it cheered her up. However, as my mother's condition continued to get worse and we waited for news of a possible transplant, I walked away from sculpting to take care of her. Unfortunately for my mother she got too sick too fast. When she passed away I needed something to soothe the pain of loss that I felt. I returned to sculpting to help me deal with the loss. My mother was my best friend and one of the most creative people I know. I don't know how many times she tried to get me to sell my art. I guess in a way she gets her wish. My art is an expression of my hopes, my dreams, my happiness and my pain. I began a new store specifically to help raise money for an International Adoption and to lend a helping hand to the American Red Cross. Please enjoy my auctions and bid with confidence. As to the name "Ferelwing". When I was 10 years old I wanted to be a writer. I wrote down various aliases that I would like to go by. Eventually I came up with "Ferelwing". Unfortunately, I was not exactly the best speller at that age. As I got older the name sort of stuck. It's unusual spelling makes it easy to remember and unique.
