I've been a member of the eBay world since 1999. There certainly have been many changes since then.
Some good, some not.
Anyway, I am an artist that uses many ways to express herself.
I make custom embroidered designs on apparel (drawn & digitized originals).
I create ACEO's (miniature art: 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" ~art trading cards~) as well as full size canvases.

Some of my favorite mediums to work in are Pastels, Watercolour (+ Gouache), Prisma Pencils, Oils and Acrylics.

I occasionally offer hand painted pendants and handbeaded jewelry.
...Oh, and once in awhile I work in ceramics too!
I am a proud member of several artists groups. Among those are the * ARTISTS' CHOICE AWARDS * 2008, and ACEO ~ Art Cards Editions and Originals, ATC and ACEO Enthusiasts , and KATS and WHOA Horse Artists...and last, but not least "Art for Critters" (A4C)
My educational background is from the Cleveland Inst. of Art, and my work experience was mostly in commercial art. I worked for a few advertising agencies, then freelanced from my own studio. Somewhere in there I got married (to another artist) and raised 2 of the best human beings ever. Both of my 'now adult' children are very creative people too.
I've always had a love for animals, so my work tends to portray them in some way. I've done quite a few animal portraits for friends and their acquaintances. Most have been works in either pastels, watercolor or prismas. It's especially rewarding to see how happy someone is to receive a portrait of a dear pet that has passed away. That portrait will keep their beloved pet's memory alive forever.
This is an 11 x 14 Prisma Pencil work of my Golden Retriever "Daisy".
Daisy passed away from kidney disease at the tender age of 4-1/2.
I miss her still, even though it's been several years since she left this earth.
What else? Hmm, well...I've rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed a few horses in the past. I have 2 great dogs and 2 cute cats from the local pound. It's been a wonderful experience to adopt from an animal shelter. I own 2 senior aged horses, Pete and Laila (and one 'not so senior...10 year old Solvin). All are wonderful creatures and make great 'models' for my art. Scroll down for a recently completed pastel of Solvin.
I hope to accomplish much in the way of supporting animal charities through my recent membership with A4C (Art For Critters).

Take care & thanks for stopping by! When looking for that special gift, please consider supporting your local artist and not some huge, discount chainstore filled with cheap 'off-shore' ripoffs.
