My name is Gerry "Krash" Campbell. I am 50 and married to Marilyn "the midwife" or as she is commonly called "that poor woman." We have four grown children, two girls (Barbara and Sarah) and two boys (Zak and Zeke). My wife and I live on Bony Ridge in beautiful Middle Tennessee. In fact, we live in almost the exact geographical center of Tennessee and just outside the center of the Universe. You read right, the center of the Universe. You see around 1970 it was calculated that Davis's Market in neighboring Murfreesboro was the exact center of the cosmos. As you can imagine, soon hundreds of metaphysical types began flocking to this small college town. It grew to create the rather unique blend of personalities that make this area so special. It's a combination of artists, actors, poets and musicians living together with farmers, ranchers, rednecks and good ole boys. It was a key factor in my life. 

This will give you a very good idea what my wife and I are like. We built our own home. Now I have talked to other couples that make that claim, but what they meant was they were involved in the planning and hired the sub-contractors. When I say my wife and I built our own home, I mean we "built" it. We rented the backhoe and dug the foundation, poured the concrete, laid the blocks, framed it, wired it, plumbed it, and we did all the finishing work ourselves. We spent 1 1/2 years and three chainsaws clearing the mile of electrical right-of-way. We then used the wood to make paneling and flooring.
