Mom's Elephants
Mom began collecting elephants in the 1960s and lovingly cared for them until June of 2001 when she fell and broke her shoulder and elbow. Unfortunately she was not able to go home and I inherited her elephant herd. I started selling some of her herd on ebay in January 2002. She numbered most of her collection which is why I am able to date the pieces as to when she got them. Her numbers are easy to remove if you should buy one. Mom also collected Native American Indian items and I sometimes list these on ebay. Mom died in November 2005 at the age of 84. The elephants in the picture have either been sold or are not for sale.
Dad's Collection
Dad collected various items [bottles, license plates, stamps, Kenner Fast 111s, Coca Cola items, etc.]. He worked for Coca Cola for 33 years. He was member #170 of the Auto License Plate Collectors Association and collected not only license plates but other transportation items. Dad died in 1983 at the age of 76. The license plates in the picture have either been sold or are not for sale.
My brothers and I could not keep all of our parents' different collections so I am selling off items a little at a time.
Other Items/Friends Items
I also go to estate sales, auctions, garage sales, etc. [isn't being retired nice!] and sometimes list items on ebay that I think other collectors might have an interest in owning. Additionally, my friends sometimes ask me to list items for them [we're all getting older and we have some great collectible items that others might want to own].
I try to describe my items as honestly as possible. If you want/need additional information before bidding, please feel free to contact me. I am not an expert on antiques and there may be more info that you need before bidding.
