The Folsom House

Hi there!  Thanks for checking out my About Me page.    As it so happens, Folsom House is not only my User ID, but also our name for our remarkable family lake home on Folsom Lake in Northern California, and the reason I was drawn to selling on eBay.  

The Folsom House was built by my Great Uncle in the 50 as his retirement home.  Although he passed away years ago, the house remained fully furnished, along with his collections of music, tools, fishing gear, art, books, and more.   Over the years, other boxes of treasures from various family members also made their way into storage at the house.

A while back, I moved into the Folsom House with my family after years of overseas living in Singapore, working and traveling throughout Asia Pacific.

Back in the USA, with a house full of stuff, I turned to eBay to fulfill the rge to purge    After  years of corporate life, I took some time off to spend time with the kids, fix up the neglected Folsom House, clear away years of accumulation, and have lots of fun along the way!

So, if you haven't done so already, I invite you to mark me as a favorite seller and watch as I continue to clear through the cornucopia of all my relative's trash and treasures, along with my own additions!  Expect to see books, sports memorabilia and Avon bottles one week, followed by collectable plates, old beer cans, and salt and pepper shakers the next.   Lots of glassware and ceramics, old household goods like tins and boxes, and lots of pop culture items that have gathered dust over the years.   Maybe Il even have time to go through the vintage tools, record albums, fishing lures, costume jewelry, and old kitchen stuff.  Add to that, my own boyhood collections of comics, coins & stamps, newspapers, matchbooks, and US Presidents memorabilia.

eBay afterlife??

No matter where the future takes me, the Folsom House will always remain our family lake home (and my eBay User ID)!! At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that I finally cleaned up the Folsom House, and it will remain the wonderful lake house that has been in my family for over 50 years.    And thanks to the Folsom House, eBay (and my folsomhouse User ID) will remain with me for years to come!!
