I am passionate about what I list. Of course, there is the occasional white elephant that I look at and say, Why did I ever buy that? Or the piece that I have to sell simply because I am running out of space in my humble digs. But I take my work seriously and love both the research that goes into identifying and valuing the piece AND the pleasure of communicating with new and repeat customers. I loved being a retail merchant (I was a bookseller) and recently remarked to a client that Ebay is the fun of retail without the pain of standing all day in high heels.
