Hi there! My name is Barry, and I'm a pocket watch collector [hmmmmm... that makes me sound like somebody from "Pocket Watch Addicts Anonymous"]. Anyway, I'm not a professional dealer or anything like that, and I don't own my own store.
I just love pocket watches! I especially love unusual ones, be they key wound, engraved, with fancy dials, or whatever. There's just something about holding an incredibly complicated, miniaturized piece of machinery in my hand, and knowing that it was handmade up to 200 years ago that makes my heart go pitter-pat! I buy pocket watches whenever and wherever I can, and I am always looking to "upgrade" my collection with more unusual [and more expensive] items, so I frequently offer some of my watches for sale in order to pay for others that I want to keep. And that's what I'm doing here on eBay....

Why
"Godzillatemple"?

Well, when I first logged into eBay, I was just planning on being a
bidder. Since I happen to be the creator of
Barry's Temple of Godzilla [the world's largest Godzilla fan Website], I thought that
"Godzillatemple" would make a unique and fun username. When I actually
started selling watches, I considered changing my username, but by that
time I felt that I had already established a good reputation under
the current name....
And now that I am shutting the doors to the old Temple of Godzilla,
I guess it's good that I've used this name over the years, since I can
now start selling off my extensive collection of Godzilla memorabilia!

So, What's this Page All About?

As I mentioned above, I'm always buying "new" pocket watches for my collection, and I often sell parts of my collection on eBay to make room for more pocket watches. In addition, I plan on selling large chunks of my extensive collection of Godzilla memorabilia here for those that are interested in that sort of thing.
Here on this page I will list my recent watch acquisitions, some of which you might just see up for auction here on eBay in the not too distant future, as well as some of the Godzilla items I am thinking of putting up for sale. Just click on any of the images below to see a larger picture of each item! Toward the bottom of my page you can also find links to my complete pocket watch collection [my "personal" collection], my antique clock collection [sorry -- not for sale!] and some useful eBay-related links.

As mentioned on the left there, my username comes from a rather successful Godzilla website I maintained for quite a number of years. During that time, I amassed a huge amount of Godzilla related stuff, including figures, trading cards, picture books, etc. Almost all of it was imported from Japan and was never sold here in the U.S. except in specialty stores. Well, the time has finally come after seven fun years to shut the main doors to the old Temple of Godzilla, and in the coming weeks and months I plan to sell off most of my Godzilla collection right here on eBay. With the exception of the trading cards, which took me forever and a day to put together a complete set (including holograms), my plan is to list everything at my original cost and let you, the bidders, decide how much things have increased in value over the years.
It's going to take me a little while to get organized and figure out what I want to sell and what I want to keep, not to mention which categories I should list the darn stuff in. So please, if you are interested, be sure to check back here every week to see what I've got listed!
