ABOUT GOLDEN GIRL MINING COMPANY
Golden Girl Mining Company has over 150 combined years of experience in the California mining industry. Located at Lake Almanor, we spend six to seven months a year heavily mining our base claims in Northern California, and several weeks dredging some of our other claims. At our claims we run a high speed trommel operation that separates the gold from the creek gravels. We use heavy machinery, such as excavators, hydraulic hammers, and loaders to gather and load our material in to our grizzly/hopper. The material is then sent up a conveyor belt in to the trommel and washed. Tailings spill out the end, and gold falls in to a nugget trap and our 30 foot sluice. At the end of the season, before we close up our pit, we clean the bedrock in the bottom of the hole we dug and dredge it with our Pro-Line 6" dredge.
We have helped many families find the perfect claim, as well as some huge mining companies obtain mining land worth millions of dollars!! Our old "Lights Creek Diggins" was recently acquired by a huge company, and next, we will be setting up an entirely new operation near Nevada City, California.
