MY EBAY POLICIES:
Items are mailed within 3 days of payment. Shipping is held until payment is confirmed(for example, 10 days for personal checks to clear). I can not accept credit card payments via Paypal because I have a Personal Paypal account. Premier and business accounts are the only ones that accept credit card payments. I don't ship items until I confirm the address so make sure your info is correct. I pack items well and include your address on the item inside the package to ensure your item gets to you in case of damage to the outer package. Please give me positive feedback when you receive your item. I will submit feeback for you at that time. If you are not happy or do not receive your item within a couple weeks of payment contact me .
EBAY TIPS FOR SELLERS & BUYERS:
1. Make sure your address and contact info is clear and correct on your Ebay account. Twice I've come across folks that do not have clear shipping information which has delayed their shipment.
2. Sellers keep receipts when you mail an item so that you have proof of shipment. If something is lost in the mail(USPS) you can fill out form 1510(Mail Loss Form).
3. Make sure your email is set to accept messages from Ebay. Junk mail filters sometimes filter out email from Ebay and from buyers/sellers. This can make things difficult when someone is trying to communicate with you.
4. Include shipping and transaction information with the item inside the package in case the outer package is damaged. This is so the postal service will know where a package is suppose to go and who it is from.
5. Buyers be sure you have the address and phone number of your seller in case you need to contact them or report them. Also, paying with a credit card can provide extra protection against fraud. Ebay and Paypal also have policies and some guarantees if you don't receive items you've paid for.
6. If a seller claims and item is new but does not provide a photo then ask them if the item has been opened or if it's still in the original packaging. I have purchased items before which were suppose to be new but were not. Sellers can provide more detail to buyers by using terms like "new and unopened", "open but new & unused" meaning the main package is open but cables and parts are still in plastic, "used but like new" which mean the seller has opened and briefly used the items but they are still in pristine condition. Other terms sellers can use are "lightly used", "used", "missing parts", "slightly damaged" specifically describe damage, "does not work, for parts only", etc. Being as specific as possible about the condition of the item you're selling ensures less problems down the road.
7. Lastly, be smart. Don't buy anything from someone you don't trust no matter how good the deal sounds.
EBAY PET PEEVES:
1. Ridiculously high shipping marke-ups.
2. Prices that are more than retail.
3. Noodleheads that pay more than retail.
4. The fact that one unscrupulous seller can screw up your good rating.
5. Ebay's ridiculous ratings system.
