ABOUT ME:

Hi and thank you for checking out my page! I am the mama of Gretty Boop, a strawberry-blondie baby with blue eyes. NOTE: I am half Hawaiian and do not look like the mother of my own child. This perplexes me occassionally, but I make up for it by buying her lots of clothes. What better way to give one's child a fashion-forward education than through the joys of eBayness? That is why I now find myself here as a seller; out with the old, in with the new!

In case it wasn't apparent, I think my daughter is FABULOUS. She was a crankpot for the first 3 1/2 months of her life. My husband and I never thought we'd survive parenthood. I may be jumping the gun a bit assuming we can survive because who knows, we are probably still in for some good times with our little bundle of joy. HOWEVER, let it be known that the parent who survives the Dresden fire-bombinglike horror of a colicky baby, can probably survive a heckuvalot. I'll get back to you on that bit.

ABOUT HOW I "DO" EBAY:

Of the auctions I list, many of the items are new, some are nearly new, and some are lovingly used. I make an effort to describe everything I sell as accurately as possible because as a shopper I, like you, want to make sure when I buy something I am getting what I paid for. I always appreciate your feedback because it is on the recommendation of eBayers that other eBayers will have confidence in me as a seller. 

I am pretty easy-going and believe in doing what's right. I keep my prices fair, and that includes shipping and handling. It wasn't until becoming a seller that I began to understand the true cost of shipping & handling. I appreciate so much more sellers who do large volumes of business, who send out a lot of packages and who manage to keep their businesses running smoothly. Kudos!

I have a full-time job and eBaying is something I do in my spare time (i.e. in the wee hours when my daughter [and usually my husband] is asleep!), which is why I try to keep the "hassle" at a minimum. At this time, I don't ship internationally because it requires more time, something that is at a premium at the moment.

Though I would like to do more, I don't often list a lot of items at once for a few reasons:

1. I want to make sure my descriptions are as accurate as possible and that my items are presented with care
2. I want to be able to address any inquiries or concerns in a timely manner 
3. I want to ship as quickly as I can - I know when I bid on & win something from eBay, it's like Christmas and I can hardly wait for my package to arrive! 
4. I have a full-time job that is not at all eBay related and it takes up all my "9-5" time. Let it be known, however, that if you see something from an auction that's ending a few days to a week after something else you've just won, and you want to bid on that other item, I'm open to waiting for the other auction to end before you need to pay. If you ask, I'll probably not hesitate to say, "Go for it!"
