WELCOME TO GYPSY'S JUNQUE (pronounced Junk, but better!)!!!! My family & I are gearing up for a major move! This summer we will be moving to Florida (from St. Louis)! In preparation for this, in addition to listing on eBay, I have rented a space in one of Panama City, FL antique malls! So, if you are ever on vacation in Panama City/Panama City Beach stop by “Olde Towne Antique Mall” @ 437 Harrison Ave, in Panama City’s historic district! There are 2 floors and a lower level (the building was originally a JCPenney’s!) of antiques, collectibles & vintage clothing!
Okay, I'm going to be dating myself here, but I've been garage and estate saling for over 35 years! I am always looking for interesting clothing and collectibles. I have gotten worse with age!! Over the years I discovered auctions too! (Even worse my Dad became an estate auctioneer for a while!) I love 'em all! When I was in my mid 20’s I answered an ad in the classifieds for a "vintage clothing picker" at a rag factory. I really loved that job! I learned A LOT about vintage clothing there! I thought it would be cool if I had my own vintage clothing shop! (It was called "Gypsy's Junque". My husband thought of the name! That's me! :) So, with my Mom, who had been an antique dealer for quite a few years, we opened a vintage and antique shop. We had it for almost 10 years! We also did "dress up" parties for kids and adults there too. And eventually added a cafe, but that’s a whole other story!! So, I just love clothes, vintage & new! I try to find unique fashions to put up for auction and in my store. I like gypsy-chic clothes, but I also like old fashioned girlie things, still yet, I like fashions that are a little vixenish! So, you'll find a lot of items that fit in those categories are what I sell! That is what is so great about modern fashion trends; anything goes, old or new! So, be unique, don't be a sheep & dress to fit your mood! I have been selling vintage on eBay for 5 years. It is the perfect job for me! It gives me the flexibility to be a "stay at home/work at home mom" (family is priority #1)! It is fun and I have "met" some great people along the way! I plan on eBaying for as long as I can! Gypsy's Junque on eBay is vintage clothing, vintage inspired items, costuming, accessories & sewing items from the 1900’s through the present for women, men and children. I specialize in fashions from the 50's through the 80's. I have recently started selling 90's to present, new and gently worn evening/party dresses. Vintage sewing items, patterns & collectibles will also be offered. Please look in my "Vintage Inspired & Reenactments" category, in my eBay store, for your costuming, reenactment and production needs! Rules of the House I am easy to do business with, but I do have a few policies and procedures that I follow. I want your eBay experience with me to be a positive one! Customer service is very important! First and foremost, I will strive to do my best to provide courteous, professional and prompt service. I try to treat you the way I want to be treated- with respect. I hope you will be pleased with your purchase and will check out my "junque" again! Happy eBaying to you! One last, quick note. I will do my best to thoroughly look over each vintage piece that I list for any flaws. If I do miss something, it is not intentional! Vintage clothing is similar to people, the older we each get, the more character we get! Most vintage items I sell are in very good to excellent condition. Occasionally I do list an item that may need a little TLC. Many of these items are perfect for costuming needs. I don't think less than perfect items should be trashed. Especially if they are unique, and have possibilities. I will note all flaws and the price will reflect the quality. Items that can be laundered, I will wash. Items that need dry cleaning, I will leave up to the buyer. I will also note that in the listing. (If I dry cleaned the item, then I would have to pass that expense on to the buyer in the starting price.) I rate each item with this number scale. This scale is on each listing for reference. SCALE EXPLANATION OF RATING 5= new or mint 4= gently worn, near new 3= very wearable but previously worn 2= flawed, but useful for costume, study or sewing use 1= belongs in the rag bag and has no resale value! 
To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received. Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
