The expanding awareness and acceptance of natural products in aiding and supporting wellness is exciting. Baby boomers, young professionals and seniors are now, more so than ever, inclined to reach out towards the natural and more eastern or traditional world of medicine.

Healthy Being recognizes the growing "green" and organic community and plans to launch an apparel line of organic cotton and bamboo for women, men, children and babies. Healthy Being Apparel will feature the flora person from our logo on shirts, tanks, yoga pants, totes for groceries as well as cute baby body suits.

We seek materials that are organic and natural that do not pose harm to our environment. We pay careful attention that our packaging and raw materials are green-e certified and manufactured in the most environmentally friendly way possible. From our business cards to our boxes; we uphold green consciousness.

Our natural health products target ailments and complaints such as illness recovery, stress, anxiety, detoxification, chronic health problems, insomnia, adrenal burnout, emotional and hormonal balance, MS, chronic fatigue, and depression. Increased mental stamina, improved energy levels and immunity as well as overall balanced skin and body care are a few examples of the positive affects from our products.

In late October 2007, we launched our first product line: Bath in a Box. Currently the line consists of six therapeutic bath salts packages infused with a specialized mix of essential oils. Each Bath in a Box contains 16 ounces of dead sea salts, organic sea salts and pink himalayan salts with an instruction guide for making an effective healing bath.

Currently we have two concepts undergoing the trademarking process: Healthy Being in a Box and Healthy Living Consulting. Healthy Being in a Box takes the guesswork out of purchasing a variety of vitamins, supplements and herbal remedies. Each box within this product line will address a particular health concern; like heart health. The Heart in a Box kit will consist of specific vitamins, minerals, supplements and herbs that positively impact heart health. They will be contained in one easy to purchase box; making is simple, easy and uncomplicated to achieve increased health and wellness.

Healthy Living Consulting assists individuals, families and corporations in establishing and maintaining optimum health. By utilizing a combination of diet, exercise and mindfulness, we seek to promote and maintain the wellness of our clients. We work in conjunction with other practitioners like acupuncturists, massage therapists and chiropractors to support the overall health of our clients.

Over the next year, we look forward to growing our business by partnering with natural health food stores, health practitioners, spas and yoga studios. Our goal is to make caring for our health and the health of our loved ones a natural, simplified process. With each interaction, we strive to eliminate the complications and hassle associated with purchasing natural health products and contribute positively to our client's optimum wellness.

About Melissa Gallagher:

Melissa fell upon natural health and healing as a means to combat a severe case of mono she had over 4 years ago. One day she woke up and was completely unable to get out of bed. Illness had struck and she had no idea how to get better. Her glands were completely swollen and it felt like she had a really bad case of the flu. Her lymph nodes in were so swollen I thought I had some type of tumor or cancerous growth.

What she did not realize was that my body was fighting the Epstein Bar Virus and from this she was exposed to a variety of viruses and bacterial infections that exhausted her already taxed immune system. I went from being completely energized to exhausted in a span of 12 hours. Despite my doctor's advise to drink water and OJ to get better- she felt she needed a better solution. Intuition drove my efforts to gain back her health and she embarked upon an adventure that still continues today. Melissa feels much better today but she still monitors and manages her daily diet, exercise and management of stress.

From this experience, Melissa choose to live life with the awareness that health and wellness can be fleeting. Appearances of health are just that and often we cannot see what may be lurking inside our bodies. She also decided that modern medicine did not sufficiently know how to treat the root of disease. Melissa discovered her calling, her true purpose in life...she feels called to help others who suffered as she. Education and advocation of natural, alternative and integrative health would be her future.

In early July of 2007, Melissa began laying the foundation for her own Natural Health Business: Healthy Being.
