About Me: Maureen~Independent Artist I learned how to Macrame in the late 60's. The first thing I ever made was a jute plant hanger. I began designing hemp jewelry in high school in the 70's. Back then I made jewelry for myself & friends. I started selling my jewelry over ten years ago at head shops, on eBay & even had a hemp jewelry website. I'm an independent artist that designs and creates all the hemp jewelry, out of my home in the bay area. I've been married for over 30 years to a fellow deadhead. We have three wonderful children. The oldest is in college now & my youngest is in high school. I'm a SAHM & I love being home for my family. I also enjoy sewing, crocheting, cooking, baking & gardening.
