Goodbye ebay

Welcome to my Ebay page. I am just a regular guy in Baltimore, MD. Married, no kids, used to be a Powerseller here on eBay. Then, unfortunately, John Donohoe came to town as the new CEO and with him came a deceitful pack of fee increases that were reported as reductions, as well as a slew of new policies that effectively blows up the eBay that once was. I have since decided that eBay no longer fits my long term goals. They take too high of a fee, they require an unstable and unreliable payment partner in PayPal, their customer service has been and continues to be a joke, and there so called "seller protections" are laughable.

I do have to thank them, though, without this latest round of sticking it to sellers, I never would have went out on my own with my own web store, nor would I have found the other excelent auction sites, like onlineauction.com. Now I have other venues to sell my antiques, coins, and collectibles. To all of my eBay customers, thanks, and see you in greener pastures!
