ABOUT US
Our auction items consist of items donated to the Rescue and art made by our homeless rescue dogs. Our dog-made art includes painted 4" and 12" ceramic tiles, mirror and picture frames, T-shirts, hats, and works on paper and canvas. Donated items include general collectables such as Longaberger, and dog-related collectables such as the works of sculptor Louise Peterson.
We are an all-volunteer-run 501(c)(3) charity. ALL proceeds from our auctions go directly to care for the dogs. In 2005 our vet bills alone were more than $20,000.
Our Mission: To educate people about spay/neuter and the need for sterilization of all pets, proper health care of a pet, and nutritional requirements. To promote humane principles, to protect homeless, abandoned, and mistreated Great Danes, and other animals as space allows. To work with animal shelters and humane societies to protect Great Danes. To locate life-long homes for the homeless Great Danes and any other animal in our care.
We have many deserving Great Danes and other homeless dogs that are in need of loving, lifelong, adoptive families. Be sure to stop by our Web site often, your new best friend may be waiting for you. Harlequin Haven Great Dane Rescue is a NO KILL shelter dedicated to saving and placing abused, abandoned, and neglected Great Danes and other dogs in suitable, loving, and forever homes in Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Eastern Indiana.
The welfare and safety of the Great Danes and other dogs is our main concern. We carefully screen all adoption applications to assure that the right Great Dane is placed in the right home. The adoption of a Great Dane or any dog is a serious commitment and should not be done on impulse or whim.
OUR POLICIES & SHIPPING
Please contact us within 3 days of winning an auction. We ship to the U.S. only, within 3 business days of receiving cleared payment. We prefer PayPal but will accept a cashier's check or money order. However paying with cashier's check or money order will delay shipping while we wait for payment to arrive in the mail, and then to clear. Please do not bid if you cannot meet these sale conditions.
Return policy: Item must be returned within 7 Days
Refund will be given as: Money Back
Return Policy Details: If you are not satisfied with your purchase you must contact me within 24 hours of receiving your item. Item must be returned to me within 7 days of receiving the item and must be packaged in box with all original materials. It must be returned to us in the same condition that it was received. Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping. We will refund only the purchase price not the shipping cost. If the item was damaged during shipping, buyer needs to contact the shipper to resolve problem.
