........The art work of the top picture is a painting done by an artist friend ! The antique ledger pictured is one that recently sold was'nt it spectacular to look at ! I presently have another one up ! these are wonderful histories of turn of the century prices so take a peek ! I try to keep a variety of items ( mostly vintage ) up for you to look at and bid on...check out my guides if you have a chance ! they may be helpful to you if the subject fits your need ! I have been a collector of vintage and antique items for many years. I love estate sales, garage sales, flea markets and find myself drawn to old books, ledgers, porcelain cups and saucers, limoges, antique cdvs and daguerreotypes, bookends, doorstops, paper ephemera , postcards...To keep it simple, if its vintage , antique or unique, HISAMIJ316 is the place to look ! ( Remember to treat old items with care, so our children and grandchildren will be able to enjoy them as we do now )...THE ANTIQUE LEDGERS and diaries are historys in themselves, recorded history of prices, stores, etc, from another time and place ! Lets take care of our antique paper as we do our antique furnishings !) ........ I ALSO WANTED TO THANK THE MANY FOLKS WHO TOOK THE TIME TO PRAY FOR MY MOM DURING THE MANY MONTHS SHE WAS ILL...AT THE END OF 6 MONTHS OF TESTS, HOSPITALIZATION & MUCH PAIN, SHE HAD FOUGHT THE GOOD FIGHT, BUT SHE WAS TIRED...SHE WENT HOME TO BE WITH THE LORD IN 2005......she missed my dad who passed away several years before her.....they had been married for over 60 years, and she was lost without him...I sure miss them both...Life is not always easy, but it is certainly precious, every moment of it, so cherish your loved ones *****
