My life is about the state of mind

 I am a background actor working through casting agencies in Burbank and Hollywood, since 2003. 

I have been an eBay user since 1997.

I live in Southern California.  I lived  on Hollywood Beach, then later moved to Hollywood By The Sea... where my user name is dervied from!

 

 

The area still known locally as Hollywood By The Sea was the on site location for filming the Rudolph Valentino movie, 'The Shiek.'

The area's pristine beaches are known as top surfing areas off the Channel Islands... became the 1930's seaside playground of silent film stars & the Hollywood celebrity set.

I have temporarily closed my eBay store and auctions to concentrate on background work...  I will be opening a new store later in the year, selling more movie wardrobe, vintage clothing, books and antiques. 

Working as a background actor is never going to make anyone famous but the job is a delight, the people are interesting, the food is good  (especially HBO) -- and the perks are being a needed player in the Hollywood entertainment industry.

It takes many grains of sand to make one beach.... and we rarely think about or notice those single grains...but they are all needed or there's no beach!

It takes a lot of unnamed people to make just one movie.  Can you imagine a movie without any background?
