WELCOME TO MY "ME" PAGE

Hi,  this is my "ME" page.  I am actually having my mom write this for me because my paws just don't hit the keys right.  I am a part poodle, part terrier mix who happens to live with two people who just love antiques.  I guess that is where I got my love for antiques too.

I am the one, though, that does all the work in this outfit.  I go out hunting antiques and collectibles almost every day.  I am partial to Art Pottery and Glassware, especially depression glass, which is getting harder and harder to find. 

 My dad loves Southern Primitives so he and I travel around searching for those here in the South.  By the way, my name is Beauregard, a good Southern name!  He and I spend all day together locating great pie safes, corner cabinets, hunt boards, and cupboards.  It is lots of fun until he finds some really big items.  Then I am glad I am a small dog, because he seems to forget I am in the truck and I end up squished between a pottery churn and a table leg.  It is all worth it though.  He comes up with some really special pieces. 

Mom and I like the smaller things like china, glassware, pottery, jewelry, and toys.  We have alot of fun putting things we find on eBay.  We also find alot of things on eBay too.  Mom found this great Roseville water bowl for me with "Dog" on it.  I guess that is so I don't confuse my water bowl with theirs??  Mom always asks my opinion on items before she buys them.  One time she wasn't sure if she should buy this beautiful Weller Jardinaire.  I couldn't understand her hesitation--it was that great Forest pattern that she loves and it was in mint shape!  I gave her a little "woof" of approval and she finally bought it.  We love that piece!  We make a really good team!

I LOVE MY JOB

My job in this outfit is to make sure all of our merchandise is ready to be sold on eBay.  I weigh it, measure it, check it for chips and cracks and then I help figure out which category to put it in.  It is hard work, but I love it.  The most fun is packing it up when it sells.  I love the boxes and the bubble wrap.  Although I am all grown up at 6 years old, I still enjoy playing.  Those boxes are alot of fun to hide in.  They are lots of fun to chew on too!  I enjoy running through the newspapers and bubble wrap and spreading it all over the house.  Mom doesn't let me near the peanuts though.  I don't know why because those look like they would be the most fun to play with.  Once I fell asleep in one of the bigger boxes and almost got shipped off!  Luckily Mom got me out before she taped it up.
