I’m Renee and my hobby is to create specialty gifts for you and for any occasion.
I’m a full time working wife and mother and have been married over fifteen years.
We have a teenage son who will be attending high school in the fall of 2008.
Time really does go by fast.
My grandmother and mom were and still are avid quilters.
My grandmother quilted to keep her eight children warm during those cold Arkansas nights back on the
farm, while my mom today quilts as a hobby.
I tried quilting the traditional way as my grandma and mom did but it was just too time consuming for me. It did make me appreciate the long hard work quilters put into their projects, but I was looking for something a little easier and quicker to do. So one day about five years ago, my mom made a rag quilt for a baby shower and I loved it so much I had her show me how to make one and since that first rag quilt, I was hooked. The fabric shopping alone was so much fun, but seeing my quilts come to fruition was so exciting I couldn't wait to start another one.
After making so many rag quilts, I ventured out to making other gift items that you may see here in my auctions. My latest is the Lazy Susan dress covers. Lazy Susan's no longer need to be boring and only used for functionality purposes. If you use your imagination, you can dress up your table with as much style and elegance as you want. My dress covers are handmade by me and can be made using any themed fabric you choose. If you have a particular theme in mind, just send me an email.

Here is one of my Lazy Susan's and as you can see, the dress cover really brings out it's character and decorates the table so charmingly.
