Hello, everyone!
I had always been curious about using Ebay, but never had the means (no computer until the last few years) or the need to try it out. It just so happens that my sister was "connected" long before I was and let me know that she was seeing items relating to our grandfather (long story) popping up for auction. At my earliest convenience I signed up for an account to try my hand at bidding. Lo and behold some sheet music came up, I bid on it and actually WON! That seller was wonderful to deal with and had been excited for me that I now owned something with family ties. Long story short, I have since moved a couple of times, my email has been changed, I no longer had access to my old Ebay account so I had to get a new one.....here I am today. My chief interest is trying to garner myself as many of my grandfather's items as possible (even with that want, someone can always outbid me, of course, and there are snipers out there...), but I am always on the look out for cool things that pique my interest. |

| Outside of that, my other interests and hobbies include film (was my minor in school; bigger fan of film noir/b&w/'40s&'50s stuff than what they put out now), television (I have to admit that the '80s figure heavily here. My son, however, even at 6 months really seems to like Animal Planet), theater (my major in school), listening to music, visiting with friends whenever I can (they all seem to live so far away), relaxing with my family when possible and just vegging out. When time was all I had and spontaneity was key, I used to enjoy road trips and pulling all-nighters with my friends at local 24 hour eateries. I have a new baby at home now and am quite content to try and see the world through his eyes for now. The smallest things seem to fascinate him and I like to watch him discover whatever is out there (I have to remember though that those discoveries are likely to wind up in his mouth so I have to be careful). |
