We offer quality fabric at reasonable prices and we strive to provide fast, friendly customer service.  You won't find anything flashy in our listings (except some of our fabrics) but we hope that you'll always feel like your money was well-spent!

Here's some info worth noting:

Shipping

    1.  We ship Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays, snowstorms, etc.).  We try very hard to ship your item(s) the same business day that you pay for them or the next day.  If you pay by 5 p.m. Central on Thursday, your fabric will usually be shipped on Friday.  If you pay after 5 p.m. on Thursday, we try to get it shipped on Friday but Janet (who does our listings, answers e-mails, etc.) doesn't work on Fridays.  She usually sends us the info through e-mail but sometimes she gets busy or we get busy in the store and can't get it shipped.  If you buy and pay for something on a Thursday night and absolutely need it shipped on Friday, please call us.

    2.  We're in a small town in northwest Iowa.  We do not have Overnight mail service.  We can send things out overnight via UPS (but depending on the item it gets pricey).  Our usual shipping methods are priority mail and UPS ground service in the continental U.S.; priority mail and parcel post to Alaska and Hawaii; airmail and surface post to Canada and airmail or Global Express mail elsewhere in the world.  We do occasionally offer lightweight items via 1st class mail in the U.S. 

    3.  UPS ground service to either coast generally takes 4 business days (if shipped on Monday, you receive on Friday).  Chicago and Denver and the Dallas area take 2 business days.  Other areas vary accordingly.  If you need your fabric more quickly than our standard shipping, just let us know - we'll be happy to give you rates for overnight, 2 day, etc.

    4.  Priority mail usually takes 2 days to 4 days but the post office doesn't guarantee delivery dates (but we have had very good service from both the post office and UPS).

    5.  LUCKY RESIDENTS OF THE UPPER MIDWEST (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois).  We will probably ship your package via Spee-Dee delivery service rather than UPS.  It still includes insurance and delivery time is about the same but we are often able to give you a partial refund on shipping - this is especially true if you are buying heavy fabric.

    5.  Combined Shipping:  We are always happy to combine items for shipping.  Please do not pay for any of your items until all items have been purchased.  Then request a combined invoice.  Since all fabrics vary in weight, please don't try to calculate shipping yourself unless all of the items have the same shipping chart.  ALSO, we will combine shipping from items on our website and our E-Bay store - again, just contact us prior to making payment.

Photos, Descriptions and Swatches

    We try to provide the best photo and description that we can.  Fabric is hard to photograph and looks different on different monitors.  We do the best we can to depict the color accurately -- that's why the photos often contain crayons.  We also try to describe the color.  We often make reference to the Online Auction Color Chart.  This is a physical chart much like a paint chip chart.  You can find them for sale on E-Bay or on the web.  Just search under Online Auction Color Chart.

    If you really need to match a color, please request a swatch.  E-mail the item names and numbers and your mailing address to us through the eBay system.  There is no charge for swatches.  In order that we may continue to offer this service without charge, please be reasonable and request only swatches of fabrics of serious interest to you and where you intend to purchase fairly significant yardage (1 or 2 yards are not significant yardage).

Sales are Final

   Once fabric is cut from the bolt it loses a significant portion of its value since everybody wants different amounts of yardage.  If you look through our store, most of our fabrics are custom cut (i.e. we don't cut it until you've bought it).  Occasionally we offer pieces of a set length but mostly we cut your fabric directly from the bolt.  Therefore, we do not accept returns (one of the reasons we offer swatches is to avoid requests for returns).

Mistakes and Flaws

    We all make mistakes.  Occasionally we ship you the wrong fabric or there is a flaw in the fabric that we haven't found prior to shipping.  Just contact us...we always correct our mistakes.

    Also, occasionally we start unrolling a bolt of fabric and discover flaws and are unable to fill your purchase or we need cut length info, etc.  If that happens, we contact you and offer you several alternatives (always including a full refund).  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you but it is impossible to know what problems may arise when fabric is taken off the bolt (we've found more flaws in fabric sold to us as first-quality than we care to mention)!

Additional Fabrics, Colors or Yardage

    We really can't custom order brand-name fabrics but if you are looking for particular colors of fabrics, etc., please check our website or contact us and we'll see what we can do.  Sometimes additional colors are available to us and sometimes we have them in stock, just not on-line.  Also, we often have more yardage in stock than is available on E-Bay -- just contact us if you need more yardage than the listing shows as available.  If we have more yardage in stock, we'll be happy to put it in our E-Bay store.

Who We Are

    In-Weave is a fabric store in a small town in northwest Iowa (Hawarden, population 2500).  Yes, we have a brick and mortar store that you can visit if you are ever in our corner of the world.  In addition to a wider selection of fabric than we can offer on E-Bay or on our website, we have a fabulous selection of rugs that are hand-woven in our store.  They are available in custom colors and sizes (photos can be seen on our website - just google our user name).

    Our brick and mortar store is open from 9:30-5:30 Monday-Friday; 9:30-4 Saturday and 1-4 Sunday.  We're closed holidays (and are often closed on the Sunday of a holiday weekend).  Please call or check our website for changes in hours.  We hope you'll stop by!
