Policies:
Please note that all sales
are final. Unfortunately,
I've had to stop accepting
returns and exchanges (also, I
prefer not to re-list returned
items).
Shipping: I ship 5
days a week, weather permitting.
I live in the Rocky Mountains,
and some days we need a snow
plow to get out of the driveway.
Any item over $50.00, I ship
Priority Mail with tracking and
insurance mandatory. Under
$50.00 I can ship First Class.
Please understand that I can't
be responsible for items lost in
First Class Mail, though this
hasn't happened to date. If this
concerns you, I recommend having
items shipped via Priority Mail.
Colors and Size: I
know shopping online can be a
guessing game sometimes, so I
strive to take accurate photos.
However, since everyone has
different monitor settings,
please be aware that slight
color differences are possible.
I also triple-check each item to
make sure the size is as
accurate as it can be but as
with clothes and shoes, it is
not an exact science. If
you're not comfortable with this
or with my returns policy, the
best thing would be to not buy.
Of course, I prefer that you do
buy, but I just want to make
sure my policy is clear so that
nobody is disappointed!
Payment: Paypal
is the only way to pay. Sorry, I
no longer accept checks or money
orders as I simply don't have
the time or resources to process
them. I don't take cash in the
mail because it's too risky.
FAQs:
How fragile is your
jewelry?
Well, I have accidentally
dropped many pieces on
the floor, they roll
nicely, without cracking
or breaking (thank
goodness) I call it
"Quality
Testing"
How do I care for my new
jewelry?
My pieces are water
proof, but should be
kept away from heat
sources. They are
"plastic" and
plastics can melt.
It's best not to expose
these pieces to chemicals
or alcohol-based
products such as
perfume, hairspray,
household cleaners or
nail polish remover.
Clean with mild soap and
water, and buff with a
soft cloth. Don't be
harsh on your jewelry!
Treat them with care,
like you would any
jewelry. These materials
can be scratched.
They're not diamond
after all. If you do get
a scratch, Novus Plastic
Polish does a wonderful
job of removing
scratches with just a
little hand rubbing.
Just treat your jewelry
with care and with
common sense, and you
shouldn't have a
problem.
Do you have any other
sizes?
Not at this time, but
I am always working on
new prototypes. Larger,
smaller, bigger, better,
it's in my imagination,
but not for sale yet.
What resins do you use?
I use a mostly epoxies,
polyesters, and urethanes.
It all depends on the
design, and which resin
will give me the look
and physical properties
I need. Some resins are
harder, some are
tougher, some are flexible.
I'm always testing new
resins.
Can you sell me a mold?
Maybe someday, I will
offer my molds for sale.
But not yet. Molds are
expensive and time
consuming to make. And
you have to use the
right kind of resin, or
you can ruin your mold.
And there is special
equipment required to
get a nice casting. It's
not an easy thing to do.
I'm looking into
publishing tutorials
someday. Send me an
e-mail and I will put
you on my mailing list.
Do you take custom orders?
That depends on what
you want. If you are
looking for a different
color, then, yes, I can
do that. If you are
looking for a special
size, then, no, not at
this time. Each size
requires new masters and
new molds. E-mail me and
I will put you on my
"Wish List".
I live outside of the US,
and I really want to purchase
your _____. Can you ship to
____?
Send me an e-mail. I
will have my Assistant
look into shipping to
your location. Margie is
in charge of all the
office details and she
will be happy to check
into this for you.
Do you have any fancy gift
boxes?
We're working on
that. At the moment, no,
but Margie is checking
into getting some very
pretty gift boxes. It's
such a blessing to
have her help.
