My family & extended family are my inspiration for what I do on Ebay. It started with buying formula and coupons for formula for my second granddaughter and evolved into a store selling things they we longer needed to make extra money to buy the things we did need. Now, I am waiting on SS disability and this is my sole source of income, and a major part of my life.

Being involved on the blog comments has just been an extra and such a nice waste of time. I love it.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME & WHO I AM....
My name is Iris Gayle & I am the proud "Granny" to two adorable little girls & one precious little boy...Kelsey Jane, age 4, Kylie Renee', age 3 and Kaden Byron, 9 mo. They are the best thing that has ever happened to me...since my own two children came into the world. I have two daughters...ages 31, and 28.
My own mother was a completely different person when I had my first child, and since my first granddaughter came into the world in Dec. 2002, I can relate to the true joy she had. I thank God for showing me just how much happiness she experienced in her last 5 years of life! I never related to that joy, until I experienced it myself...22 years after the death of my mother.
I inherited the love of buying clothes for little girls from my mother, and needless to say, I have spent a lot of time looking for things to dress them in. When my second grandchild came into the world, she was born to a single mother & I had the need to help provide clothing and formula for her. Ebay became a vital part of my life! I was able to buy formula and coupons at a great savings. This helped me buy at a discount and it helped my daughter feed her baby.
After spending a lot of time surfing Ebay, I decided to try and sell some baby clothes, uniforms and other things around the house that I could sell and use the funds to purchase formula. Thus, began my hobby of selling on Ebay. I basically was trading.
Recently, I became disabled, following 3 hand surgeries. I have had no income for about 2 years now. Ebay has given me something to do to make a little extra money. I enjoy the people who I have communications with...and I like trying to find items that other people might be looking for. I am not a power seller, and I may never be. What I really want to do is have a hobby that provides a little extra spending money...and I am doing just that.
I appreciate the customers who visit my auctions and check out my items for sell. I usually have baby clothes, children's clothes, jeans, women's items and occassional odds and ends that I find that I think might attract some attention. I really enjoy finding things that remind me of my past...and seeing if others find those things interesting too.
I don't buy things any place particular....I just look EVERYWHERE I go. I always have my eyes open for items that are nice and of good quality. I like to sell things that I would want for myself. I don't want to sell anything to anyone that I would never dream of using myself. Same goes for the baby/children's clothes. If I wouldn't dare put it on my grandbabies, I wouldn't put it in my auctions. And, I always wash everything before I list it, so that if there are defects, I will know (unless, of course, they are NWT).
I want to personally thank everyone for looking at my items for sell. Please add me to your "favorite" list. If anyone has any comments or any suggestions, please let me know. I don't have a lot of time to devote to this, but I spend as much time as I can. My grandbabies do and always will, come first! I keep them as much as I can...and I love every minute of it.
