IsisShaman....My name is Tracie, I'm from a small town in NC. I am a Solitary Eclectic Witch, and have been living, learning and growing in the old ways for many years. I am a Priestess/HandMaiden of Isis, Student of Shamanism, and Certified Universal Clergy.
I have always been drawn to the Egyptian Deities, Ancient Egyptian Magic, and the Ancient Egyptian culture, which has greatly influenced my Spiritual Path. I am currently studying the roles of Women in Ancient Cultures. My research on this subject has drawn me ever closer to the Goddess Hecate. Although She is most known as a Greek Goddess, Her origins go back farther than Olympus. Some believe that Hecate had Her true origins in pre-dynastic Egypt as the Goddess Hekit or Hekat, (translated this means "Great Magician"). I feel this is why I am so strongly drawn to Her.
Although I practice many aspects of the craft, my main feilds are working with herbs...herbal magick, herbal healing, aromatherapy, and energy healing...which includes working with the chakras. I also read Tarot, and practice yoga.
I also enjoy growing my own herbs, and have been crafting my own special blends of magical incense and oils for many years.
The Goddess has changed my life in many ways, and I am truely grateful...
