Our shipping carriers:   We ship domestically by FedEx Ground and FedEx Express.  USPS Priority Mail may also be available on smaller items.  International purchases will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail International to Canada and Express Mail International to other countries.  You can select your shipping carrier, if more than one is offered, at checkout.  We may substitute a carrier with comparable or better service at no additional cost to you.  We cannot ship using other carriers or on your own account.

Shipping fees:  Our shipping fees are determined by the actual rates quoted by our carriers for the item's shipped size and weight and the shipping destination. Please note that both FedEx and USPS surcharge many packages based on their size, sometimes causing the shipping cost to be higher than you might expect for the item's weight. 

Handling fees:  We want your item to arrive promptly and safely, so our store professionals use first-quality packing materials to pack each item with care.  All shipping quotes include a nominal handling fee to cover material and packaging costs.

Insurance and signature confirmation:  We require insurance on all items with a winning bid over $100. Any fee for insurance will be added at checkout.  For your security, we also require an adult signature upon delivery for items with a winning bid over $250.  While we always attempt to pack glass items with care, we cannot be responsible for (and insurance does not cover) breakage of plate glass during shipment.

Shipping and delivery times:  We ship most items within 1-2 business days of receiving your payment.  Items paid for by PayPal eCheck will be shipped after the payment clears--usually 3 to 5 business days after receipt.  Items that require disassembly or special packaging may require extra time.  FedEx Ground delivers to most areas of the United States within 3-4 days after shipment; USPS Priority Mail (domestic) typically takes 4-5 days from shipment.

Combined shipping:   Our shopping cart system will automatically provide a combined shipping and handling discount on similarly-sized items where practical.  Unfortunately, we cannot provide quotes for combined shipping while the listing is live. 

Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico:  The "Standard Flat Rate Shipping Service" price shown at the top of this listing is valid for the 48 contiguous U.S. states only.  Shipping costs are higher to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.  Please use the shipping calculator in each listing to get the delivery costs to your ZIP code.
  Delivery to post office boxes:  For delivery to a post office box, select USPS Priority Mail (if offered) as your shipping method.  FedEx cannot ship to post office boxes, so you must provide a physical street address at checkout if you select FedEx delivery.  Failure to do so may delay receipt of your shipment.

Delivery to non-confirmed addresses:  For your security, we may ship only to your PayPal Confirmed Address or the billing address on your credit card if we are unable to verify your shipping address.  If you have recently moved, be sure your address is updated before checking out.

International shipping:  Shipping is available for most items to the following countries:  Australia, Canada, Guam, Israel, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, the U.S. and British Virgin islands, and all members of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and United Kingdom).  If international shipping is available, the rates will be shown in the shipping calculator in the listing (Canadian bidders must enter their postal code to get rates). International shipping may not be available on some larger items due to postal regulations. 

Customs duties and fees:  Customs duties, VAT and customs/import brokerage fees may be imposed by the post office in the destination country.  These are not included in our shipping fees and are the buyer's responsibility.  All items will be listed as "Other Merchandise" on our export declaration.  We do not falsify customs documents by declaring sold merchandise as gifts.  The winning bid amount and shipping will be specified as the item value for customs.

Local pick-up:  You may pick this item up at this store rather than having it shipped to you. We do not charge a pick-up fee, but local sales tax will apply.  Before coming in to pick up your item, please check out and pay online, choosing Pick up at this store location as your shipping method.  Print a copy of your receipt, and bring it and a photo ID to our store to help expedite your pickup.  Our store address and phone number are under the 'About Us' heading below.  We are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.  Items must be picked up within 10 days.

Check-out:  To pay for your purchase, just click the Pay Now button in the listing after it ends.  We use the Infopia shopping cart system to allow you to pay for all your purchases at once.  Your payment information is secure.

Forms of payment:  We accept PayPal (including eChecks), Visa and MasterCard (for domestic purchases only), and U.S. Postal Service money orders (as long as we receive them within 7 days after the listing ends).  We can also accept cash for in-store pick-ups only--please do not send cash by mail.  We regret that we cannot accept Discover Card, American Express, non-USPS money orders, or personal checks. 

Time for payment:   We must receive your payment within 7 days after the listing ends (unless otherwise noted in the item description).   If you mail a USPS Money Order, we must receive it within this time period.  If you pay by PayPal eCheck, please allow 3-5 business days after checkout for it to clear.  Orders not paid within the 7-day time period will be cancelled and an Unpaid Item dispute will be filed with eBay.

Sales tax:  All in-state deliveries and pick-ups will be charged 8.25% Texas state and local sales tax during the checkout process.   Texas law requires us to charge sales tax on your total purchase, including shipping & handling.  If you are exempt from paying Texas sales tax, please contact our store before checking out so that we can obtain the necessary documentation from you.

 

Returns:  We do our best to describe and photograph every item accurately.  However, we are not the owner of most of the items we sell, and therefore we may not be familiar with or able to test every possible function, accessory or feature.  Please review the listing carefully before bidding.  Items may be returned for a refund only if they were significantly not as described in the listing and photos.  To be eligible for a refund, you must:

  • Contact us within 3 days of receiving the item to obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA), and
  • Return the item to us, in exactly the same condition as you received it, within 7 days after we issue the RMA.

To obtain an RMA, call our store toll-free at (800) 915-9261, ext. 3 (24 hours a day; please leave a message if we are closed), or email us through the "Contact the Seller" link at the top of the listing.  We regret that we cannot authorize any returns after the 3-day time period, to enable us to pay our consignors in a timely manner.  Shipping and handling costs are not refundable.

About Shipping and Handling

What will my shipping and handling fees be?  For most items, the "Standard Flat Rate Shipping Service" price shown at the top of the eBay listing is the total (excluding insurance, if applicable) shipping and handling cost to any destination in the 48 contiguous U.S. states.  Shipping costs are higher to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international destinations--in this case, please click on the "Calculate Shipping" box in the Item Description to get the delivery costs to your ZIP code, postal code (Canadian residents) or country.

Can you combine my shipping?  Yes, we will automatically combine shipping on similarly-sized items where practical.  To take advantage of combined shipping, simply check out and pay for all of your items from our store at one time.  Combined shipping rates are determined during checkout by our automated system; unfortunately, we cannot provide quotes for combined shipping while the listing is live.

Why is this item available for "Local Pick-Up Only"?  Because of the item's size and/or weight, we have determined that we cannot securely package it for safe shipment through the parcel system without special materials or crating.  You are welcome to pick the item up at our store (you can find our address under 'About Us' immediately below), or to arrange your own packaging and freight service at your expense through a third-party service such as uShip (uShip.com), Navis (gonavis.com) or Craters and Freighters (cratersandfreighters.com). 

About Checkout and Payment

How do I pay for my purchase?  Simply click on the "Pay Now" link in the listing or in the email you received after the listing ended.  This will take you into our checkout system.

Why do you use Infopia Checkout instead of the standard eBay payment process?  Infopia is one of the world's largest e-commerce software providers.  The Infopia checkout system allows you to pay for all of your purchases from this store at once.  It also enables us to accept credit cards in addition to PayPal and money orders.  Finally, it is fully integrated with our store management software, enabling us to ship your order promptly.  Be assured that all personal and financial information you enter into the Infopia Checkout system is secure.

Can I just pay you directly through PayPal?  To enable us to provide you with prompt shipping and great customer service, all payments must go through our checkout system.  If you attempt to "Send Money" to us through your PayPal account, PayPal will simply redirect you to our checkout.  You can, however, pay with PayPal and use the information stored in your PayPal account to speed up your checkout--just click the "Pay with PayPal" graphic on the first checkout page.  You'll be taken to the PayPal site, where you'll log into your account and confirm your purchase.

Do you take personal checks?  No, we do not accept personal checks.  The only forms of payment we accept are:
  • PayPal (all methods, including eChecks)
  • Credit cards (MasterCard and Visa)
  • Debit cards (with the Visa or MasterCard logo)
  • US Postal Service money orders
  • Cash (for in-store pick-ups only--please do not send cash by mail)
I have not received an invoice for the item.  After each of our listings closes, eBay will automatically send an email to the winner. (At times, spam guards may prevent that email from reaching you, so please make sure your email filters are not blocking these messages from eBay.)  We do not send a separate invoice.  Instead, to get your total due, simply click the Pay Now link in the auction listing or in the winning bidder notification email. This will take you through our checkout system. During checkout, you can see all of the available shipping options and the cost of each. Shipping automatically combines when it can at checkout. When you select the shipping method you prefer, the system will show you your total due.
  Why am I asked for my credit card number when I am paying with PayPal?  This request is actually from PayPal, not our checkout system.  There are two possible reasons this might happen:

1. You do not have a "confirmed address" on your PayPal account. Because we can only ship to a PayPal confirmed address under PayPal's seller rules, PayPal requires that you confirm your address during checkout. They do this by verifying that the billing address on the credit card matches your shipping address. (If you have not seen this before, it is probably because some sellers do not require shipment to a confirmed address.)

2. You are paying from your PayPal linked bank account, but you do not have a backup funding source for your PayPal account. In this case, PayPal requires the credit card just in case your bank refuses to pay due to insufficient funds.

Rest assured that even though PayPal asks for your credit card information, they will still fund your transaction with whatever method you request (e.g. PayPal account, bank account, etc.), and at no time will we receive your credit card information.

Why do you require a PayPal confirmed address?  For buyers, confirmed addresses help guard against stolen credit cards and identity theft. For sellers, confirmed addresses help prevent fraudulent purchases and potential chargebacks. You can confirm your shipping address through PayPal. A confirmed address is one that meets PayPal's security standards.

How do I confirm my address with PayPal?  You can confirm your address in three ways:

1. Add a credit card to your PayPal account.  PayPal will attempt to confirm your address with your credit card company. If the credit card company is not able to confirm your address, you may be asked to complete the Expanded Use enrollment process to activate your credit card. Your address can be confirmed after that process is complete. Note: Not all credit card companies are able to confirm addresses.

2. Apply for PayPal Buyer Credit. If approved, the address on your application will be a confirmed address.

3. Complete an alternate address confirmation. This process takes several days and is only available for U.S. accounts. To learn more, log in to your PayPal account and visit the Alternate Address Confirmation page.
