I generally sell antiques, (dishes, figurines, etc.) toys, books, CDs, women's clothing, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s vintage clothing, jewelry, (created by myself & my disabled mother & some from other sources) and DIY (do-it-yourself) purses. Please check back to see if I have anything for sale at any given time. Usually I have at least one or two new things for sale every week. I try to find quality merchandise to sell, and all of it is in good, very good, like new, or new condition.
I'm currently looking to get back into college and finish up in a graphic design or other creative degree, and I work at a marketing firm as a customer service representative. I would say that I have many interests, but I love to paint, draw, read, listen to music, hike, bike, create, design, and many other things, and I'm also an environmental and animal rights activist. I'm a very honest, shy, yet friendly person, and I will go out of my way to help people. I am trying in any way possible to help out my disabled Mom financially, & help pay for my college education, so you can rest assured that all of your money is going to a good cause. *) Ivory Isis is my online nickname. I chose "Ivory" because I have very pale skin and (naturally) blonde hair, and "Isis" because she is my favorite Goddess. I love the Ancient Egyptian civilization, and it's part of the reason I went into Archeology originally in the first place. The Goddess Isis was an Egyptian Goddess originally, later spreading to many other cultures. Isis is the feminine archetype for creation - the goddess of fertility and motherhood. She has gone by many names and played many roles in history and mythology - as goddess and female creator. In the duality of our reality, she represents our feminine aspects: creation, rebirth, ascension, intuition, psychic abilties, higher chakras, higher frequency virbations, love and compassion, life, & magic. She is the Yin energies, the mother nurturer, the High Priestess, the Goddess of all mythological tales - to other female icons in the mythos of creation. She is the essence of the feminine energy which is part of us all. Isis became the model on which future generations of female dieties in other cultures were to be based, including Mary, the mother of Jesus. If you look at the stories of Isis and her son Horus, the stories about Mary & her son Jesus are strikingly similar, & too similar to not have been based on the Isis mythos. As the personification of the "complete female", Isis was called "The One Who Is All", Isis Panthea ("Isis the All Goddess"), and the "Lady of Ten Thousand Names". Policies Payment I accept cashier's checks, money orders, money orders through Bidpay, (www.bidpay.com) credit card, personal checks, & e-checks through Checkfree (www.checkfree.com) ONLY, and Paypal (www.paypal.com). Please note that I DO NOT TAKE PERSONAL CHECKS OR CREDIT CARDS, EXCEPT THROUGH CHECKFREE, & I DO NOT ACCEPT WELL CONCEALED CASH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. Checks take too long to clear at the bank unless sent through Checkfree, and cash is just not safe. Please WAIT UNTIL I SEND AN INVOICE - I will add in the extra charges that I need for the package, etc. I expect payment as soon as you can possibly get it out to me. If within two weeks I have not received payment, I will notify you that I am relisting your item. Shipping Items are shipped out the same day as I receive payment, or the next business day. I will send out an email when I send out your item. I charge an extra $0.50 to $2.00 for shipping and handling to pay for the cost of the parcel that the item(s) are shipped in, and to also purchase tracking if the item is a bit more expensive. Shipping and handling is non-refundable, please contact me if you don't think I am charging a fair enough amount. I cannot take responsiblity for lost or stolen items. I am very fair with my shipping costs, and you will probably notice that a lot of sellers on Ebay are not. Buying As for buying, I always pay right away & haven't had any problem with that in the past. I like to pay by Paypal, as it is easier and faster for me to deal with, and that way we both get what we want faster. If I can't pay right away for any reason, I will send you an email & let you know why. Combining Shipping I have no problem combining shipping if you buy multiple items from me. If I do combine shipping, the items will all be in the same package, provided that they all fit in the same package. Relisting If I don't hear from you via email within 3 days of winning an item, I will send you a reminder email that you should be paying me soon. If you do not contact me with some sort of financial arrangement that we can both agree on within 10 days of winning an item, the item will be relisted. I will warn you once, before relisting it, but if on the 10th day I have still heard nothing, it will be listed on Ebay again.  | ||||||
