Shipping practices:
Shipping days = monday and fridays
How I work to make sure your item gets to you-
I pack very well for dolls and delicate items, using lots of packing material, tissue paper, then bubble wrap,( shredded paper, peanuts and newspaper are all items often used for filler). I will never pack an item in newspaper alone! It will be wrapped first in tissue paper and bubble wrap before newspaper is used only as a final filler in larger boxes. Any item shipped should not move around in the box. I dont know if other sellers know this but if an item moves in the box it has a chance to be damaged no matter how well wrapped, this is not as applicable for wigs or fabric items but is very true for vintage dolls, glass wear, electronics and other delicate or heavy items. Delicate items should NEVER touch the sides of a box, should be centered with adequet packing on all sides to be snugly immobile!
Shipping wigs:
Wigs usually ship netted in my wig flexibox (exception is the multiple wig purchase and priority mail) my box is then completely covered in clear postal regulation tape. I have crushed the flexibox nearly flat and popped it right back out, I have also done water testing with the box and it is virtually water proof (floats too) as well as both shipping and return labels being waterproof.
I print the address directly from ebay and paypal records with copy/ paste which rules out hand typed errors. If by check or m.o. I carefully hand type with a spell check and will email for clarification if I cannot read your writing. I print two identical copies of each address label so I have one for my files to later show (if needed) the exact same address that was applied onto the box.
I use delivery confirmation on all uninsured U.S. items and it is figured in the shipping price listed. The receipt and delivery confirmation receipts are then stapeled to my copy of the address labels for each shipment. This is an excellent and organized way to be able to later show the exact address that your item was shipped to (ruling out spelling, typos or grammatical errors) proof of shipping and exact address label photos can be emailed or faxed (upon request).
I have to put this for the loss of out of country as well as those in country packages.
I cannot refund if the Post Office does not handle your item as they should. I use every precaution I can to stop Postal loss but ocassionally they do lose items.
