What was life like before ebay?

Hello, and thanks for stopping by. My name is Jessica, and I am both a buyer and a seller here on ebay. I love clothes, and at times, it seems like I collect them. lol. When my closet starts to get full, I find some items to put on ebay, in hopes that someone will be able to get use out of them, and add them to their collection. I also have sisters who are always giving me things to list for them too. lol.
On the downside..... I feel that ebay's new feedback policy is really putting sellers in tough situations. I have come across some buyers who look at the new feedback policy as a way to get free items, discounts, free shipping, etc. What blows me away is how some people are not even reading the auctions, and afterwards, they are disputing things that were clearly written. And of course, they want a discount. How is it my fault if a buyer does not read the auction? Why should I have to lose money when I listed my auction correctly? It is very unfair to sellers, and honestly, it is starting to turn me off of selling. I think that ebay should start cracking down on the people who are using the new feedback policy as a way to ignore auction terms, and get as much as they can for free. Anyone else agree?
