Vintage Jewelry is for everyone!

Anyone can go to the local department or discount store and pick out some neat jewelry, but to really have that one of a kind stand-out style, you just can't beat vintage jewelry. 

Vintage jewelry has many advantages.  First, it is unique.  You're not likely to run into someone at your local Starbucks wearing the same thing.  Secondly, vintage jewelry is a great value. Walking through the department stores and looking at prices will make you almost dizzy, and even the discount chains prices will make you take a deep breath.  It is easy to spend almost as much, or more, on your accessories as your whole outfit when buying "new" jewelry from these sources.  Which brings up the third reason why vintage jewelry is such a great item...quality.  Most vintage items are higher quality jewelry then what you can currently purchase in discount stores and many are better quality than you can even purchase at your higher-end department stores.  This is especially true when you purchase signed pieces of vintage jewelry, but can also be applied to many of the nicer quality unsigned pieces.

There are many other reasons to collect and wear vintage jewelry though I've only highlighted a few of them.  I especially like the history of a piece and wondering when it was worn, or for what special occassions it was given or worn.  Must be my nostalgic side.  Any way you look at it, vintage jewelry is far superior to anything you can buy at your local stores.

ABOUT MY JEWELRY & TERMS

• My jewelry is purchased from estates from across the country. Estate jewelry typically shows some slight wear, anything excessive will be noted.
• I do not sell reproductions.  There are many sellers selling items such as (fake) bakelite and signed pieces that are clearly reproductions which do not have the quality or value as genuine vintage pieces.
• I describe my pieces as accurately as possible but please inspect the pictures and ask any questions if you have any before bidding/buying.
• Pictures are (as you'd expect) larger than pieces in person.  This shows details of jewelry nicely, but can also highlight flaws if any are present.  Many times jewelry looks better in person then the pictures show.
• Insurance is optional for all domestic shipments and is there for buyer's protection.  I cannot be held responsible for packages once they leave my hands as I have no control over what usps does with them at that point.  If you are concerned about loss or damage, please insure for proper amounts.  International shipping insurance is cost prohibitive and is not generally available.
