~~I have always been intrigued with the past be it an old bottle, a piece of Victorian Jewelry or even people. Sometimes when I hold a very old object in my hand I get a warm feeling, a sense of the places it has been, and a yearning to the wonders it has seen. A door knob makes me think of all the people whom have turned it,was it in a happy place. A busy place of a long time past.

I love talking to the elderly they have "Been there and done that" we all can learn so much from them. I head up a small group of neighbhors that try to make a nice christmas for a nursing home, where all the residents are of low income levels and have very little especialy in the way of family and friends, it seems when they go there and are left they are also forgotton. So what we try to do is to make them feel wanted , and remembered. We all have fun . The "BAG LADIES OF BELFAIR PARK" I LIVE IN A MOBILE HOME "PARK" AND WE GIVE THEM CHRISTMAS "BAGS"hence The ladies of Belfair Park.

My fellows ebayers help at Christmas and I'm sponsored by a group here on ebay. We get all kinds of things for them from all over the country. Sometimes not enough of what they need but they get plenty of self esteem- and we get lots of smiles.

I have been selling designer signed costume jewelry for over  25 years in all kinds of venues, but I think that ebay is the best avenue  for all my finds, PRIZES as I call them.

 I'm a single person  but do have 2 boys and grandchildren. Unfortunaltly they all live in other states. So I rarely get to see them~so the "old folks~ fill in my time and warm my heart!

I have a spoiled rotten cat, His name is tumper- yes I know thats the famouse rabbits name but teaching him as a kitten I would thump him on his paws to teach him not to claw etc, He got thumped so often that I named him thumper. It has stuck for the last 5 years and No he doesnt claw my furniture. He behaves  better than a lot of children I know.

I like people , I'm a people person- and have a opinion about most everything. I was taking a class at colllege and they begged me to join the impromptu debate team- they said we cant loose with you on board. I was flattered but turned them down.

I like to mix with different kinds of people and enjoy them tremendously, I sing Karoake- with a young couple here and there on a night out- or sit and visit with an elderly lady friend talking about crochet- or what ever.

~The  one true love I have in life is that I have been fortunate enough to be able to do a line of work that I have always wanted to do. Not many people get to do that. I'm in the health care industry,and get to mix with all kinds of personalities , get to see their hopes and dreams and help them when they are sickly.This is very satisfying to me and feel very lucky to be in that postion.
