Where did Jack & Jill come from?
Thank you for visiting! I want to tell you a little bit about myself first.........My father's name was Jack and I am Jill........ My mother was a long time antique doll collector, and antique collector. This was my introduction. I scouted around the Omaha area and into small towns of Iowa and Nebraska, looking for antique dolls. Of course, I was able to pick up wonderful antiques along the way. I would always steer her to the better doll at auctions and shops, and in retrospect; these are some of the most valuable dolls she has. I was always told I had a good eye.....

CREDENTIALS AND BACKGROUND
I have had Jack & Jill Doll Hospital for the past 30 years. I was named one of the ten best doll hospitals in the country in 1996 by Good Housekeeping Magazine. I have my art degree and teach art while still attending classes. I have taught art at the American School of Warsaw in Poland in 1991/1992. I also do appraisal work. I would love to hear from you if you have any questions about the value of your antique doll or dolls. I can appraise via the internet and send you what you need or come to your collection if within a drivable distance from Omaha. I often get called from insurance companies and Offutt Air Force Base for those dolls that get broken in moves. I am very competitive in price and would be glad to be of assistance! I recently have expanded my network and have been requested to sell collections of antiques and dolls or doll related items for avid and longtime collectors. This is not just dolls, but includes many different types of antiques. I have successfully sold antique dolls for people who want to now sell their vintage dolls and antiques. I also sell as a trading assistant on ebay. I regularly sell for Frank the architectural antique collector who has collected antiques for the past 30 years. He has very interesting pieces and is adding and selling continually. I also now have a website under jackandjill with the .com on the end. I offer advice and tips on doing some of the cleaning and simple restoration yourself to your dolls, but please feel free to ask if uncertain. I have been asked the same questions over the years....
