Hi. My name is Ruth. A few things that may be helpful to you:
1) Why I only accept paypal. Well. There have been a few occasions that I haven't received a check or money order and end up putting the buyer as an unpaid bidder. That person usually gets mad and leaves negative feedback for me, usually saying that they made several attempts to contact me, usually not true. So I just don't deal with it.
2) I almost always offer shipping insurance. I don't force it on anyone but I do recommend it. What happens to an item after it has left my possession has nothing to do with me. Postal insurance for items up to $50 is only $1.50. It's worth it. If an item breaks during shipment, and you did not purchase insurance, do not leave me negative feedback because of your neglect.
3) I do discount s/h fees for multiple purchases won within a 24 hour period, paid for in one transaction and mailed to the same address. The first and highest priced fee is 100% of the listed fee, second item is 75% of stated fee, and third and more is 50% of listed s/h fee.
4) I usually only go to the post office twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Sometimes I go more than that if I have alot of auctions ending in one week. I also try to let the winning bidder know when thier item has been shipped, so they know when to look for it. But there are times that life gets crazy, and I may not make it out to the post office for a few days, or if you pay days after an auction has ended. Please give two weeks for delivery. 99% of the time you will receive your item within 2-3 days, but that doesn't always happen. Do not leave me negative feedback saying I was too slow with delivery just because you didn't receive it within 5 days.
5) Feedback: I am very honest when it comes to leaving feedback for others. I do not leave someone negative feedback just because they left me negative feedback. Before leaving negative feedback for me I would appreciate an explanation, because half of the negative things that have been left for me are really stupid. For example, slow delivery when a person receives an item within 7 days. Or because they're upset because an item broke during delivery, when they chose not to get insurance.
6) Items are sold as is. All items are described honestly and to the best of my knowledge. I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. If you have an issue with an item, please contact me and we can possibly work something out but do not send it back to me with no explanation and expect a refund. Once items leave my house, they are no longer mine.
