Since 1996, I've been selling products on my own website.
Presently, with only one child left at home, I have free time to do things that I really enjoy... treasure hunting! When other women are at the mall, I'm making my rounds at the neighborhood thrift stores.
The first treasure that I sold on eBay was a 2002 Winter Olympics Relay Torch.
I am very particular about quality. When I describe items in a listing, I strive for accuracy & completeness. I even check for flaws with a magnifying glass. When inspecting crystal, porcelain or ceramics, I perform a thorough "fingertip feeling" test. If the material is permeable, I do a smell test. For scrapbooking items, only archival, high quality items make the cut. And if an item isn't perfect, I will let you know & describe the imperfections to the best of my ability.
Unusual things that I know about are: Daprato Catholic Artwork; Murano Art Glass; Commercial Playground Equipment & Park Furnishings; Animation Production Cels & Artwork; Juvenile Products; Collectible Cookbooks; Restaurantware; Ship Line China; and Ice Skating.
For teachers & homeschoolers, I am always on the lookout for educational textbooks & supplies, and have a wide variety of items for grades K-12 .
I hope you find the treasures you've been hunting for in my Great American Garage Sale. ~ Andrea |
