my name is katie, i'm a uw student studying the environment...i've lived in the seattle area my whole life, and i'm pretty much a seattlite to the core in most ways, from my coffee drinking habits/love for coffee shops to my music tastes to my clothing style...but there is definitely some california in me, i want to live in san diego someday. what else? i love God, He is very important to me...i'm actually church-shopping right now, trying to find a church where i can take root and get involved. i've been dating an amazing guy named nathan skone since september '05, and it's a blast! we are both fairly geeky and share interests, and we have the best times together, both of us being fairly spontaneous and willing to try new things. he's very sweet to me. also, i'm a rocker chick, punk, metal, emo, indie, grunge, i'm on it. concerts are a good time, and i looove dancing and clubbing! these days i also go out with my friends to the irish emigrant on sunday nights to hear oliver play on his guitar and sing irish folk music. i love to travel, been to 25 states of the u.s. and to canada, mexico, england, france, and spain, but i'm dying to travel to japan because it's the best country ever. go japan! i like going out and being crazy and doing random stuff, like going to some haunted cemetery in the dead of night or checking out local landmarks and urban legends. i also just like hanging out with my friends, watching movies and gaming and such. but despite all of this, i'm still an introvert who needs her down time alone...i enjoy reading and writing and singing along to my music. so, i guess that's me.

my interests are...anything connected to japan (atarimae!), dancing, clubbing, reading fantasy novels, swimming, video games (especially rpgs, and i do love zelda and smash bros.), going to concerts, paintballing (though I rarely get the opportunity), writing creatively, going out for coffee, bubble tea, jamba juice, and chai, mini golfing, going on random adventures with my friends to find locations such as bruce lee's grave, kurt cobain's house, maltby cemetery (haunted, folks!), and andrew's rainbow house (just about the craziest thing you'll ever see), rockin out to my music, turning the pineapple upside-down mix boxes upside down in the grocery stores (aka the reign of terror), watching my funny, tragic, or random and philosophical flicks, and california!
